Talimogene Laherparepvec in Patients With Unresectable Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic Cancer

The purpose of the study is to assess the safety of injections of talimogene laherparepvec into patients with pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The study will also test whether the injections are effective in treating the tumor.

Irofulvene in Treating Patients With Stage III or Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic Cancer

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of irofulven in treating patients who have stage III or stage IV pancreatic cancer that cannot be surgically removed.

Irinotecan Plus Gemcitabine in Treating Patients With Unresectable or Metastatic Solid Tumors

Bladder CancerBreast Cancer4 more

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of combining irinotecan and gemcitabine in treating patients who have unresectable or metastatic solid tumors.

Pancreatic Cancer

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy in treating adult patients who have stage III or stage IV pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.

Gemcitabine and Radiation Therapy in Treating Patients With Cancer of the Pancreas

Pancreatic Cancer

RATIONALE: Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Gemcitabine may make tumor cells more sensitive to radiation therapy. Combining chemotherapy with radiation therapy after surgery may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combining gemcitabine with radiation therapy in treating patients who have undergone surgery to remove cancer of the pancreas.

Combination Chemotherapy Plus Radiation Therapy With or Without Tipifarnib in Treating Patients...

Adenocarcinoma of the PancreasStage II Pancreatic Cancer1 more

Randomized phase II trial to compare the effectiveness of gemcitabine, paclitaxel, and radiation therapy with or without tipifarnib in treating patients who have locally advanced pancreatic cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Tipifarnib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for tumor cell growth. Combining chemotherapy and radiation therapy with tipifarnib may be an effective treatment for pancreatic cancer.

Irinotecan and Docetaxel With or Without Cetuximab in Treating Patients With Metastatic Pancreatic...

Pancreatic Cancer

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Monoclonal antibodies such as cetuximab can locate tumor cells and either kill them or deliver tumor-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. Combining chemotherapy with cetuximab may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial is studying giving irinotecan and docetaxel together with cetuximab to see how well it works compared to irinotecan and docetaxel alone in treating patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer .

LMB-9 Immunotoxin in Treating Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors

Bladder CancerBreast Cancer5 more

RATIONALE: The LMB-9 immunotoxin may be able to locate tumor cells and kill them without harming normal cells. This may be an effective treatment for advanced solid tumors. PURPOSE: Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of LMB-9 immunotoxin in treating patients who have advanced solid tumors that have not responded to standard therapy.

Vaccine Therapy With or Without Sargramostim in Treating Patients With Advanced or Metastatic Cancer...

Adenocarcinoma of the ColonAdenocarcinoma of the Gallbladder40 more

Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of vaccine therapy with or without sargramostim in treating patients who have advanced or metastatic cancer. Vaccines may make the body build an immune response to kill tumor cells. Colony-stimulating factors such as sargramostim may increase the number of immune cells found in bone marrow or peripheral blood. Combining vaccine therapy with sargramostim may make tumor cells more sensitive to the vaccine and may kill more tumor cells
