Pancreatic and Gastrointestinal Tumor Registry and Tissue Collection
Pancreatic CancerThe purpose of the study is to collect pancreatic tissue, blood and urine from adults to study pancreatic abnormalities.
Intra-Arterial Treatment of Pancreatic Cancer Using the RenovoCath™ RC120 Catheter
Pancreatic NeoplasmsThis is an observational study to assess patient survival and clinical outcomes after the RenovoCath™ RC120 catheter is used to deliver chemotherapeutic agents to pancreatic tumors.
A Pilot Trial to Determine the Extent of Inter- and Intra-Treatment Organ Motion Using Active Breathing...
Pancreatic CancerThis is a study to assess the motion of pancreatic tumors during radiation therapy using Computed Tomography (CT) Scans and an Active Breathing Control (ABC) Device.
The Pre-operative Pathway in Pancreatic Head Malignancy-assessment of the Diagnostic Accuracy of...
Cancer of PancreasOur aim is to assess the ability of scans to distinguish the organ of origin of pancreatic head malignant tumours and to predict the resectability based on the preoperative imaging. To achieve this, a retrospective review of the preoperative CT scans will be conducted for all patients with pancreatic head malignancy treated at the Peninsula Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) cancer unit between January 2006 till January 2014.
Characterizing the Pancreatic Cancer Proteome From Pancreatic Juice
Pancreatic CancerCurrently, X-rays and blood tests often miss pancreatic cancer. In this study, we are collecting and studying the fluid produced by the pancreas as a way to detect pancreatic cancer at an earlier stage.
Comparison Between Base and Cover Slide From Endoscopic Ultrasound Guided Fine Needle Aspiration...
Pancreatic CancerThe purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a difference of diagnostic accuracy between cover slides and base slides from EUS-FNA cytopathologic sample in patients who were previously suspected of pancreatic cancer in radiologic test.
The Prediction Using Diffusion MRI of the Response Evaluation in BRPC in NAT.
Pancreatic CancerTo investigate the correlation between pretreatment ADC value of diffusion MRI and pathologic response in patients with borderline resectable pancreatic carcinoma who undergo neoadjuvant therapy.
Clinical Trial of Pancreatic Cancer in Stockholm.
Pancreatic CancerSPP study includes incidence cases of pancreatic cancer in the Stockholm county region from 2007 to 2014. The purpose of SPP study is to estimate relative risk of pancreatic cancer in relation to snuff dipping, overweight/obesity, individual food items, food groups, dietary pattern and various nutrients; to estimate relative risk of pancreatic cancer in relation to exposure to nitrosamines, either endogenously or exogenously; to estimate relative risk of pancreatic cancer in relation to oral health and H.pylori infection and their interaction with ABO blood type; to estimation relative risk of pancreatic cancer in relation to hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection; to estimate relative risk of pancreatic cancer in relation to some genetic polymorphisms, either functional or being suggested in GWAS study; to estimate mutation profile in pancreatic cancer cases, and its correlation with environmental exposures, and the impacts on survival periods in pancreatic cancer patients. The MeSH name is Carcinoma, Pancreatic Ductal
Evaluation of Survival Prognostic Factors for Patients With Exocrine Pancreatic Cancer Resectable...
Pancreatic CancerThis study aims to collect clinical, biological and quality of life data from patients with a borderline or resectable pancreatic cancer. It will collect information from the date of diagnosis along the therapeutic care of the patients, and a 3-years follow-up after the end of the treatment. The database will be updated at each patient's visit. Biological samples will include: tumor, and plasma. Epidemiological data will also be collected, whereas Quality of life will be assessed by the EORTC standard. The objectives of this database are to identify new biomarkers (genomic, immunologic, and epidemiologic) and promote high quality standard research protocol.
Pancreatic Cancer Malnutrition and Pancreatic Exocrine Insufficiency in the Course of Chemotherapy...
Pancreatic CancerExocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency4 moreMalnutrition and cachexia are common in patients with advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and have a significant influence on the tolerance and response to treatments. If timely identified, malnourished PDAC patients could be treated to increase their capacity to complete the planned treatments and therefore, possibly, improve their efficacy. The aim of the study is to assess the impact of nutritional status, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (PEI), and other clinical factors on patient outcomes in patients with advanced PDAC. The nutritional status will be determined by means of Mini-Nutritional Assessment score and laboratory blood tests. PEI will be defined as the presence of typical symptoms and/or reduced fecal elastase. Analysis: chemotherapy dosing over the first 12 weeks of therapy (i.e. percent of chemotherapy received in the first 12 weeks, as defined above) PAC-MAIN will provide insights on the role of malnutrition and PEI in outcomes of PDAC.
