Ibrutinib in Treating Patients With Refractory Metastatic Cutaneous Melanoma
Metastatic MelanomaRecurrent Cutaneous Melanoma1 moreThis phase II trial studies how well ibrutinib works in treating patients with stage IV melanoma of the skin that has not responded to previous treatment. Ibrutinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

AIDS-Related Non-Hodgkin LymphomaClinical Stage III Cutaneous Melanoma AJCC v817 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects of pembrolizumab in treating patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and malignant neoplasms that have come back (relapsed), do not respond to treatment (refractory), or have distributed over a large area in the body (disseminated). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
Dabrafenib and Trametinib in Treating Patients With Stage III-IV BRAF Mutant Melanoma That Cannot...
Stage III Cutaneous Melanoma AJCC v7Stage IV Cutaneous Melanoma AJCC v6 and v71 moreThis phase II trial studies how well dabrafenib and trametinib work in treating patients with stage III-IV melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery and contains a B-Raf proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase (BRAF) mutation. Dabrafenib and trametinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
Akt Inhibitor MK2206 and Hydroxychloroquine in Treating Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors, Melanoma,...
Advanced Malignant Solid NeoplasmStage III Cutaneous Melanoma AJCC v78 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects and the best dose of Akt inhibitor MK2206 together with hydroxychloroquine in treating patients with advanced solid tumors, melanoma, prostate or kidney cancer. Akt inhibitor MK2206 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as hydroxychloroquine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving Akt inhibitor MK2206 together with hydroxychloroquine may kill more tumor cells than giving either drug alone.

Cetuximab Before Surgery in Treating Patients With Aggressive Locally Advanced Skin Cancer
Recurrent Skin CancerSquamous Cell Carcinoma of the SkinThis pilot clinical trial studies the side effects and how well cetuximab before surgery works in treating patients with skin cancer that forms, grows, and spreads quickly and has spread from where it started to nearby tissue or lymph nodes. Monoclonal antibodies, such as cetuximab, may block tumor growth in different ways be targeting certain cells. Giving cetuximab before surgery may make the tumor smaller and reduce the amount of normal tissue that needs to be removed.
Ipilimumab With or Without High-Dose Recombinant Interferon Alfa-2b in Treating Patients With Stage...
Recurrent MelanomaStage IIIA Cutaneous Melanoma AJCC v73 moreThis randomized phase II trial studies how well ipilimumab with or without high-dose recombinant interferon alpha-2b works in treating patients with stage III-IV melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery. Monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab, may block tumor growth by targeting certain cells. Recombinant interferon alfa-2b may interfere with the growth of tumor cells. It is not yet known whether ipilimumab is more effective with or without high-dose recombinant interferon alfa-2b in treating melanoma.

Clinical Stage III Cutaneous Melanoma AJCC v8Clinical Stage IV Cutaneous Melanoma AJCC v83 moreThis phase III trial studies how well initial treatment with ipilimumab and nivolumab followed by dabrafenib and trametinib works and compares it to initial treatment with dabrafenib and trametinib followed by ipilimumab and nivolumab in treating patients with stage III-IV melanoma that contains a mutation known as BRAFV600 and cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab and nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Dabrafenib and trametinib may block tumor growth by targeting the BRAFV600 gene. It is not yet known whether treating patients with ipilimumab and nivolumab followed by dabrafenib and trametinib is more effective than treatment with dabrafenib and trametinib followed by ipilimumab and nivolumab.
Romidepsin in Treating Patients With Lymphoma, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, or Solid Tumors With...
GliomaHematopoietic and Lymphoid Cell Neoplasm48 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of romidepsin in treating patients with lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, or solid tumors with liver dysfunction. Romidepsin may stop the growth of cancer cells by entering the cancer cells and by blocking the activity of proteins that are important for the cancer's growth and survival.
High-Risk Skin Cancers With Atezolizumab Plus NT-I7
MelanomaMerkel Cell Carcinoma1 moreThe purpose of this study is to test whether the addition of NT-I7 to atezolizumab provides clinically meaningful outcomes for patients with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 naive or relapsed/refractory high-risk melanoma, Merkel Cell Carcinoma (MCC) and cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma (cSCC)
