Metabolomics Explores Biomarkers for Metastatic Breast Cancer
Breast CancerRATIONALE: Studying samples of plasm by metabolomics-based approach from women with metastasis breast cancer may help doctors understand the biomarker of visceral metastasis. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying the biomarker of visceral metastasis by metabolomics approach in metastasis breast cancer undergoing treatment.
Extended Follow up of the TARGIT-A Trial
Breast Neoplasm FemaleAll UK patients who participated in the TARGIT-A Trial were initially treated for early breast cancer between 2000-2012. A total of 3451 patients from 33 hospitals in 11 countries participated in the trial and a comparison was made between traditional radiotherapy given over several weeks (external beam radiotherapy, EBRT) with TARGeted Intraoperative radioTherapy (TARGIT-IORT) as a single dose given during the operation to remove the breast cancer. The trial was funded by the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) programme of the Department of Health, UK and sponsored by University College London. The results from this trial have been published in major medical journals and have already started changing the way breast cancer in treated around the world; please see www.targit.org.uk for more details. We would like to continue to collect data about the health status of all patients to enable us to learn about longer term differences in the effects of these treatments on health. An analysis of this information could improve treatment for patients with breast cancer. For this, HTA have granted us further funding.
Analysis of Therapy Sequence in Women With HR+, HER2 - mBC in Moscow: A Multicenter Retrospective...
Breast Cancer Stage IVA assessment of the efficacy of first-/second-line endocrine therapies ± target therapies and chemotherapy in real-life of in patients with hormone receptor-positive (HR+)/HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer has not yet been conducted in Moscow. Methods: Observational, retrospective study carried out in oncology hospitals in Moscow, in patients with hormone receptor-positive (HR+)/HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer. The descriptive analysis will be conducted for patient characteristics, responses to treatment and treatment outcomes. This study will provide retrospective chart review of evidence on the use of therapy in routine clinical practice, with a focus in population of Moscow
Study of ABCB1,SLC22A16 Drug Transporter Genes and Doxorubicin and Cyclophosphamide Toxicity in...
Breast Cancer Patientspolymorphisms of drug transporter genes may influence of Doxorubicin-Cyclophosphamide toxicity in breast cancer patients. the investigators want to evaluate the association between associations between genetic polymorphisms of ABCB1,SLC22A16 Genes and Toxicity of Doxorubicin and Cyclophosphamide Chemotherapy in Breast Cancer Patients treated by Doxorubicin-Cyclophosphamide regimen therapy
Effect of Endocrine Therapy Duration on Clinical Outcome of Patients With HR+ Intraductal Carcinoma...
Breast CancerThis study will investigate the relationship between the endocrine therapy and the survival of patients with hormone receptor positive intraductal carcinoma of the breast, and the optimal duration of medication. This study will also analyze the risk factors of recurrence and metastasis of hormone receptor positive intraductal carcinoma of the breast and establish a prognosis model to further clarify the specific reasons for recurrence and metastasis, adverse reactions, and drug withdrawal in patients with hormone receptor positive intraductal carcinoma of the breast after endocrine therapy.
Dissecting the Pathways of Therapy Resistance in Early Breast Cancer
Breast CancerWithin the 1st step MINDACT patients who have already relapsed will be asked to participate. For these patients a biopsy of the metastasis should have been taken. A molecular analysis of the stored primary tumor sample and of the metastatic sample, using new technologies, will be performed, and the characteristics of both samples will be compared. Within the 2nd step a prospective collection of the metastasis samples will be implemented and analysis of biological material from relapsing MINDACT patients is foreseen. This process will provide insights on the biology of breast cancer and allow us to better understand mechanisms of resistance to therapies, contributing to overcoming this important problem.
Evaluation of Heart Function in Breast Cancer Patients Using Trastuzumab
CardiotoxicityAntitumor Drugs2 moreBy dynamically observing the changes of echocardiogram and biomarkers in breast cancer patients using trastuzumab, evaluate the effect of trastuzumab on cardiac function; determine the sensitivity of echocardiography and biomarker indicators And specificity, explore effective and specific early warning indicators, and provide technical support for the evaluation of the cardiac safety of anti-tumor drugs.
RWS of Inetetamab HER2 Positive Advanced Breast Cancer
HER2-positive Advanced Breast CancerThis non-Interventional study will describe and analyze the clinical use of Inetetamab in clinical practice in the treatment of HER2 positive advanced breast cancer in the real world.
Life After Breast Cancer - Impact of a Life Coach
SurvivorshipBreast CancerThe objectives of our intervention are to Ease the transition between cancer treatment and active life, and Allow breast cancer survivors to take control of their lives. The primary objective of this study is to: 1) Determine whether individual life coaching (i.e., individualized guidance that helps to put resources into action) can significantly improve quality of life and post-traumatic growth among women who have been recently treated with breast cancer. It is hypothesized that: Participants who receive both "group coaching sessions" and "individualized coaching sessions" will report greater post-traumatic growth and quality of life, and less fear of cancer recurrence when compared to the breast cancer survivors who received only the group coaching sessions or usual care. Participants who receive only the group coaching sessions will report greater post-traumatic growth and quality of life, and lesser fear of cancer recurrence when compared to the participants who receive usual care.
In Vitro Study of the Liquid Biopsy Test System of the Diagnostic Value, in Women With Various Forms...
Breast NeoplasmsThe Study Objective is to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of the liquid biopsy system versus the gold standard mammography (or MRI, or Ultrasound) diagnosis in patients with suspected breast cancer.
