Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Epithelial Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian CancerFallopian Tube Carcinoma1 more

The purpose of this study is to define whether 6 courses of neoadjuvant chemotherapy can lead to a higher rate of complete cytoreductive surgery compared with 3 courses of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer or primary peritoneal cancer.

Fallopian Tube CarcinosarcomaFallopian Tube Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma25 more

This randomized phase II trial studies how well oncolytic measles virus encoding thyroidal sodium iodide symporter (MV-NIS) compared to investigator's choice chemotherapy works in treating patients with ovarian, fallopian, or peritoneal cancer. Measles virus, which has been changed in a certain way, may be able to kill tumor cells without damaging normal cells.

Adult GlioblastomaEndometrial Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma22 more

This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of raptor/rictor-mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) (TORC1/2) inhibitor MLN0128 when given in combination with bevacizumab in treating patients with glioblastoma, a type of brain tumor, or a solid tumor that has spread and not responded to standard treatment. TORC1/2 inhibitor MLN0128 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Bevacizumab may also stop the progression of tumors by blocking the growth of new blood vessels necessary for tumor growth.

Ovarian Serous TumorRecurrent Fallopian Tube Carcinoma2 more

This randomized phase II trial studies how well ATR kinase inhibitor M6620 (M6620) and gemcitabine hydrochloride work compared to standard treatment with gemcitabine hydrochloride alone in treating patients with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent). ATR kinase inhibitor M6620 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking an enzyme needed for cell growth, and may also help gemcitabine hydrochloride work better. Gemcitabine hydrochloride is a drug used in chemotherapy that works to stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking cells from growing and repairing themselves, causing them to die. It is not yet known whether adding ATR kinase inhibitor M6620 to standard treatment with gemcitabine hydrochloride is more effective than gemcitabine hydrochloride alone in treating patients with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.

Stage III Fallopian Tube Cancer AJCC v7Stage III Ovarian Cancer AJCC v6 and v713 more

This pilot Early Phase I clinical trial studies epacadostat before surgery in treating patients with newly diagnosed stage III-IV epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. Epacadostat may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

Ovarian CancerFallopian Tube Cancer1 more

The overall aim of the study is to demonstrate a clinically meaningful extension of progression free survival using maintenance pembrolizumab. The aim of the translational research is to study the immune microenvironment before and during pembrolizumab therapy.

Ovarian CancerFallopian Tube Cancer1 more

The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of treatment with carboplatin/paclitaxel* PLUS pembrolizumab (MK-3475) and maintenance olaparib (MK-7339) in women with epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer. The primary study hypotheses are that the combination of pembrolizumab plus carboplatin/paclitaxel* followed by continued pembrolizumab and maintenance olaparib is superior to carboplatin/paclitaxel alone with respect to Progression Free Survival (PFS) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors Version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) in participants with programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1)-positive tumors (Combined Positive Score [CPS]≥10) and in all participants, and that the combination of pembrolizumab plus carboplatin/paclitaxel followed by continued pembrolizumab is superior to carboplatin/paclitaxel alone with respect to PFS per RECIST 1.1 in participants with PD-L1-positive tumors (CPS≥10) and in all participants.

Recurrent Platinum-Resistant Fallopian Tube CarcinomaRecurrent Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Carcinoma1 more

This phase II trial studies how well modified vaccinia virus ankara vaccine expressing p53 (p53MVA) and pembrolizumab work in treating patients with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer that has come back (recurrent). Vaccines made from a gene-modified virus may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving p53MVA and pembrolizumab together may work better in treating patients with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.
