Clinical Trial Comparing Gemcitabine and Vandetanib Therapy With Gemcitabine Alone in Pancreatic...
Pancreatic CancerViP is a double blinded clinical trial which will compare gemcitabine and vandetanib chemotherapy with gemcitabine alone in patients with locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic carcinoma.
Investigator's Initiated Phase II Study for Pancreatic Cancer Patients
Pancreatic CancerThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of TL-118 alone or in combination with pancreatic cancer chemotherapy.
Study of Mitomycin-C in Patients With Advanced or Recurrent Pancreatic Cancer With Mutated BRCA2...
Pancreatic CancerPatients will be tested for mutations in the BRCA2 gene. If they have a BRCA2 mutation, they will be treated with Mitomycin-C as described here. The patients with an identified gene mutation will also be provided with genetic counseling.
32P BioSiliconTM in Addition to Gemcitabine in Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatic CancerThis is the first study investigating the safety of 32P BioSilicon in patients with advanced, unresectable pancreatic cancer who are also receiving standard intravenous gemcitabine chemotherapy. The secondary aims of the study will assess the implantation procedure, localisation of 32P BioSilicon, tumour response and survival parameters. Tumours targetted with 32P BioSilicon is hypothesized to show a reduction in tumour volume and with the low radioactivity dose that is delivered intratumourally, the incidence of side effects associated with the treatment is expected to be low. Prologation of survival and improved quality of life could be favourable outcomes of the investigational product.
Gemcitabine and Oxaliplatin Followed By Radiation Therapy, Fluorouracil, and Oxaliplatin in Treating...
Pancreatic CancerRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine, oxaliplatin, and fluorouracil, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Giving chemotherapy together with radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving gemcitabine together with oxaliplatin followed by radiation therapy, fluorouracil, and oxaliplatin works in treating patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.
Near Infrared Technology and Laparoscopic Resection of Pancreatic Lesions: the COLPAN Project
Pancreatic Neuroendocrine TumorsClear Cell Renal Carcinoma1 moreThe purpose of this study is to determine whether the use of Near-Infrared Technology can guide the laparoscopic resection of hypervascular neoplasms of the pancreas.
Different Stapler Cartridge For Pancreatic Stump Texture To Prevent Pancreatic Fistula
Pancreatic NeoplasmsPancreatic FistulaThe purpose of this trial is to establish an objective criterion for assessing pancreatic stump texture, and unify stapler cartridge according to pancreatic stump texture and thickness.
Combined Resection vs. Separated Resection After Mobilization of Splenic Vein During Distal Pancreatectomy...
Pancreatic NeoplasmsEligible patients will be centrally randomized to either Arm A (resection of the splenic vein after isolation from the pancreatic parenchyma) or Arm B (co-resection of the vein together with the pancreas).
Improving REsectability in Pancreatic NEoplasms (IRENE)
Pancreatic CancerStereotactic Body RadiotherapyEvaluation of clinical response in terms of resectability of patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy plus stereotactic body radiotherapy.
Endoscopic Ultrasound Guided Tissue Sampling (The SharkBITE Study)
Pancreas CancerPancreas Neoplasm3 moreThis study compares the diagnostic performance of Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) guided fine needle aspiration and EUS guided core biopsy (SharkCore) in patients with a solid pancreatic mass.
