Axitinib and Avelumab in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Metastatic Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma...

Metastatic Adenoid Cystic CarcinomaProgressive Disease1 more

This phase II trial studies how well axitinib and avelumab work in treating patients with adenoid cystic carcinoma that has come back or spread to other places in the body. Axitinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as avelumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving axitinib and avelumab together may help to control adenoid cystic carcinoma.

Simultaneous Integrated Boost in Carbon Ion Radiotherapy for Head and Neck Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma...

CarcinomaAdenoid Cystic1 more

The investigators aim at investigating in a prospective clinical trial whether using a Simoultaneous Integrated Boost of carbon ions treatment planning approach, improving the tumor dose conformation while lowering the unintended dose to the low-risk volume, can significantly reduce the probability of toxicity without affecting Local Control.

Erlotinib and Cetuximab With or Without Bevacizumab in Treating Patients With Metastatic or Unresectable...

Metastatic Squamous Neck Cancer With Occult Primary Squamous Cell CarcinomaRecurrent Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of the Oral Cavity65 more

This randomized phase I/II trial studies the side effects, best way to give, and best dose of erlotinib and bevacizumab when given with cetuximab and how well giving erlotinib and cetuximab together with or without bevacizumab works in treating patients with metastatic or unresectable kidney, colorectal, head and neck, pancreatic, or non-small cell lung cancer. Erlotinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as cetuximab and bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Cetuximab and bevacizumab may also stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Giving erlotinib together with cetuximab and/or bevacizumab may kill more tumor cells.

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Rivoceranib in Participants With Recurrent or Metastatic...

Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rivoceranib in adult participants with recurrent or metastatic ACC. All participants may remain on treatment until occurrence of disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, death, the withdrawal of consent from treatment, lost to follow-up or study termination by the Sponsor. When a participant discontinues rivoceranib for any reason, the participant will enter the 24 month survival follow up period until withdrawal of consent from the study, lost to follow up, end of the study or death, whichever occurs earlier. The maximum duration of the study is estimated to be 48 months and includes screening, treatment, and follow-up phases.

Esophagoscopy in Evaluating Treatment in Patients With Stage I-IV Head and Neck Cancer Who Are Undergoing...

Stage I Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of the Oral CavityStage I Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma of the Oral Cavity26 more

Brief Summary: RATIONALE: Comparing results of diagnostic procedures, such as esophagoscopy, done before and after radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy may help doctors predict a patient's response to treatment and help plan the best treatment. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying esophagoscopy in evaluating treatment in patients with stage I-IV head and neck cancer who are undergoing radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy.

7-Hydroxystaurosporine and Irinotecan Hydrochloride in Treating Patients With Metastatic or Unresectable...

Advanced Adult Primary Liver CancerCarcinoma of the Appendix87 more

This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of giving 7-hydroxystaurosporine together with irinotecan hydrochloride in treating patients with metastatic or unresectable solid tumors, including triple-negative breast cancer (currently enrolling only patients with triple-negative breast cancer since 6/8/2007). Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Giving 7-hydroxystaurosporine together with irinotecan hydrochloride may help kill more cancer cells by making tumor cells more sensitive to the drug.
