A Treatment of Unresectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma With TheraSphere®
Liver TumorsHepatocellular Carcinoma2 moreThis is an interdisciplinary study that falls into the Humanitarian Use Device category. There are no hypotheses to be tested in this treatment protocol. The study has the following objectives: Provide supervised access to treatment with TheraSphere® to eligible patients with primary cancer to the liver who are not surgical resection candidates. Evaluate patient experience and toxicities associated with TheraSphere® treatment. Measure tumor response rates
Therasphere® for Treatment of Unresectable Primary Liver Cancer and Metastatic Liver Cancer
CarcinomaHepatocellular1 moreThe purpose of this protocol is to provide supervised and limited access to Therasphere® treatment for patients with primary liver cancer and chemotherapy refractory liver metastasis who cannot be treated by surgical removal of the affected part of the liver. Patient response to treatment and any side effects of Therasphere® treatment will be examined.

Risk Factors of Hepatocellular Carcinomas Developed on Non-fibrotic Liver: Case-control Study (NoFlic...
Hepatocellular CarcinomaThe main objective of this study is to identify direct carcinogenic factors in the absence of cirrhosis, and the carcinogenesis pathways involved on nonfibrotic liver (NfCHC).
Comparing SonoVue With Sonazoid Using CEUS-LIRADS in HCC
Hepatocellular CarcinomaCirrhosisThe new version of CEUS LI-RADS published at 2018(version 2017). In this study, the investigators aim to investigate the diagnosing performance of CEUS LI-RADS by administrating different contrast agents (SonoVue/ Sonazoid).
R1vascular Hepatectomy for HCC Patients
Hepatocellular CarcinomaSince the previous decade, the authors introduced the R1 vascular (R1vasc) resection for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and colorectal liver metastases (Torzilli et al. J Am Coll Surg 2005; Viganò et al. Ann Surg Oncol 2016; Torzilli et al. Surgery 2017). However, oncological reliability of tumor exposure in surgery for HCC remains controversial since it has never been validated. The aim of the study is to determine the oncological adequacy of R1vasc hepatectomy in patients with HCC.
Performance Evaluation (Sensitivity/Specificity) of HelioLiver Test for Detection of HCC
Hepatocellular Carcinoma by AJCC StageDe-identified whole blood and serum samples are collected for the purpose of evaluating the performance (sensitivity/specificity) of the HelioLiver Test for the detection of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Neutrophil Extracellular Traps as a Biomarker to Predict Portal Vein Tumor Thrombosis in Patients...
Neutrophil Extracellular Trap FormationPortal Vein Tumor ThrombosisThe aim of this study was to investigate whether NETs markers can enhance predict portal vein tumor thrombosis in patients with live cirrhosis, so as to establish a novel predictor to guide clinical decision-making.
Hepatocellular Carcinoma Imaging Using PSMA PET/CT
Hepatocellular CarcinomaThe purpose of the research is to evaluate the use of a PSMA PET/CT (Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen Positron Emission Tomography/Computerized Tomography) scan in the diagnosis of HCC (hepatocellular carcinoma) and comparing it to standard scanning techniques with CT (Computed Tomography) or MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging).
