Concurrent Chemo-radiation Form NSCLC to a Individualized MLD
Non-small Cell Lung CancerOur group has shown in a modeling study that increasing the radiation dose to pre-specified normal tissue dose constrains could lead to increased TCP with the same NTCP in patients with non-concurrent chemo-radiation. In a subsequent phase I trial, in patients receiving non-concurrent chemo-radiation we showed the safety of this approach. Here,we want to investigate its efficacy in a prospective study in patients with stage III NSCLC, who are selected for radical concurrent radiotherapy
Radiotherapy for NSCLC to a Individualized MLD
Non-small Cell Lung CancerOur group has shown in a modeling study that increasing the radiation dose to pre-specified normal tissue dose constrains could lead to increased TCP with the same NTCP. In a subsequent phase I trial, the investigators showed the safety of this approach. Here, the investigators want to investigate its efficacy in a prospective study in patients with stage I-III NSCLC, who are selected for radical radiotherapy
An Observational Study on Patients With Non-Squamous NSCLC Who Reached A Long PFS After Avastin...
Non-Squamous Non-Small Cell Lung CancerThis retrospective observational study will analyse demographic, clinical and treatment-related data of patients with non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who had reached >/= 9 months of progression-free survival after Avastin (bevacizumab)-based first-line therapy. Data will be collected for approximately 9 months.
S0424 - Carcinogens in Lung Tissue From Smokers (Closed to Entry as of 7/15/07) and Non-Smokers...
Lung CancerRATIONALE: Studying samples of blood and tissue from smokers (closed to entry as of 7/15/07) and non-smokers with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to cancer. It may also help doctors learn more about risk factors for lung cancer and may help the study of cancer in the future. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying carcinogens in lung tissue from smokers (closed to entry as of 7/15/07) and non-smokers with newly diagnosed stage I, stage II, or stage III non-small cell lung cancer.
An Observational Study of Avastin (Bevacizumab) in Combination With Chemotherapy in Patients With...
Non-Squamous Non-Small Cell Lung CancerThis observational study will evaluate modality, efficacy and safety of Avastin (bevacizumab) as first-line treatment in combination with chemotherapy in patients with inoperable advanced, metastatic or recurrent non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer in clinical practice. Data will be collected for each patient for 18 months from initiation of Avastin therapy.
Proteomic Profiling in Diagnosing Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer in Patients Who Are Undergoing Lung...
Lung CancerRATIONALE: Evaluating specific proteins in the blood may be an effective and noninvasive procedure to help doctors determine if a patient has early non-small cell lung cancer. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying proteomic profiling to see how well it works in diagnosing non-small cell lung cancer in patients who are undergoing resection for suspicious (abnormal) stage I lung lesions.
Dynamic PET/CT Evaluated the Response of Neoadjuvant Anti-PD1 Combination With Chemotherapy for...
Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Stage IINon-small Cell Lung Cancer Stage III1 moreThe neoadjuvant Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor (ICI) or ICI combination with chemotherapy for Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) had induced higher major pathologic response (MPR) and complete pathological response (PCR). However, the RECIST underestimated the therapeutic response of neoadjuvant ICI therapy. In this study, dynamic PET/CT compared with RECEST 1.1 for the prediction of therapeutic response of NSCLC treated with neoadjuvant ICI combination with chemotherapy.
Efficacy & Safety Study of Lorlatinib in ALK/ROS1 Metastatic NSCLC Patients With Compassionate Use...
Metastatic Non Small Cell Lung CancerThis is an observational, non-interventional, retrospective, multicentre and nationwide study. The information will be obtained retrospectively, in most cases when the treatment has already ended. The primary objective of this study is determine the activity of lorlatinib (percentage of responses, duration of response, progression-free survival and time to treatment failure) of patients included in the compassionate use program in Spain.
A Study of Brigatinib to Treat Adults With Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK) Positive Metastatic...
CarcinomaNon-Small-Cell Lung1 moreThe aims of the study are to assess the safety profile of brigatinib and the clinical response rates in adults with Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK)-Positive Metastatic Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). Treatment with brigatinib and follow-up will be according to routine clinical practice. Study doctors will review the participants' medical records at the start of the study, then at 12 and 24 weeks after treatment starts.
The Effect of a Combined Drainage Strategy in Uniportal Upper Lung Lobectomy
CarcinomaNon-Small-Cell LungTraditional drainage for uniportal video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) is a routine method, usually with one or two chest tubes at intercostal incisions, but postoperative pain due to the chest tube and unsatisfied drainage effect was noted. In this study, the investigators are going to explore whether a prophylactic air-extraction catheter combined with chest tube drainage may not increase complications in uniportal VATS for upper lung lobectomy. The patients would be assigned to two arms, one with a prophylactic air-extraction catheter combined with chest tube, and another with two chest tubes, and the effect of the combined drainage strategy will be evaluated.
