Anlotinib Plus Platinum-etoposide in First-line of Extensive-stage Small-cell Lung Cancer

Extensive-stage Small-cell Lung Cancer

Anlotinib is a novel multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) for tumor angiogenesis and tumor cell proliferation. The efficacy of Anlotinib as a third-line or beyond therapy for SCLC was confirmed in the ALTER1202 trial. The aim of this trial was to investigate the prognostic value of Anlotinib plus platinum-etoposide in first-line treatment of extensive-stage SCLC patients.

Long-term, Non-interventional, Observational Study Following Treatment With Fate Therapeutics FT500...

Advanced Solid TumorLymphoma16 more

Subjects who previously took part in the FT500-101 study and received allogeneic NK cell immunotherapy will take part in this long term follow-up study. Subjects will automatically enroll into study FT-003 once they have withdrawn or complete the parent interventional study. The purpose of this study is to provide long-term safety and survival data for subjects who have participated in the parent study. No additional study drug will be given, but subjects can receive other therapies for their cancer while they are being followed for long term safety in this study.

DC Vaccine Combined With CIK Cells in Patients With SCLC

Small- Cell Lung Cancer

The aim of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of dendritic cells (DC) combined with cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells treatment patients with Extensive-Stage Small-Cell Lung Cancer. Experimental adopted recombinant adenovirus-code MUC1 and Survivin transfected DC, which are used for DC-based immunotherapy. Based on the results of our previously preclinical research with DC combined with CIK cells, the investigators plan to perform the clinical trial.

Small Cell Lung Cancer

This study is aimed to evaluate the progression-free survival(PFS) and also survival of IP and EP (head-to-head) as the first line therapy for extensive stage small-cell lung cancer and to explore the reasonable first-line therapy for Chinese population. An open-label, multi-center study will be conducted with dynamic randomization of approximately 1:1 ratio with an estimation of 308 eligible participants.

Maintenance Therapy With Autologous Cytokine-induced Killer Cells for Small Cell Lung Cancer

Small Cell Lung Cancer

The role of maintenance therapy in the management of Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) has not been confirmed. Many treatment modalities like chemotherapy, interferons and other biological agents have been tested as maintenance therapy in SCLC, but the results are disappointing. A marginal survival advantage is seen in maintenance with chemotherapy and interferon-alpha, however, the functioning status and immune system may get worse, which subsequently has a negative impact on patient's quality-of-life. Immunotherapy with autologous cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells can activate the antitumor defense mechanism through stimulating immune response and altering the interaction between tumor and its host. This effect may result in improved tumor control and survival, as well as a better quality of life. To test the hypothesis, a randomized controlled study was conducted to compare CIK cells with best supportive care as maintenance therapy for SCLC.

Intravenous Palifosfamide-tris in Combination With Etoposide and Carboplatin in Patients With Malignancies...

MalignancyCancer6 more

This an an open-label study to define the safety profile and the maximum tolerated dose and confirm the clinical effective dose of palifosfamide-tris given intravenously in combination with etoposide and carboplatin in a wide range of cancers which etoposide and carboplatin are normally given. Once the maximum dose of palifosfamide-tris is determined,a Phase II study using the 3 agents combined will begin.

Combination Chemotherapy Plus Radiation Therapy in Treating Patients With Small Cell Lung Cancer...

Lung Cancer

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Combining more than one chemotherapy drug with radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells. It is not yet known which treatment regimen is more effective for small cell lung cancer. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to study the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy using two different doses of cyclophosphamide followed by alternating chemotherapy and radiation therapy in treating patients with small cell lung cancer.
