Salivary Expression of SOX7 in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma: Diagnostic Accuracy Study

Oral CancerOral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

The study will include patients with oral cancer and healthy controls of both sexes. Subjects having any systemic diseases or other types of cancer will be excluded. All subjects will be selected from Oral Medicine Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Al Ahram Canadian University and Fayoum University. Informed consent will be obtained from all subjects enrolled in this study after explanation of the whole procedure.

Establishment of a Tissue Registry for Hepatocellular Carcinoma Specimens

Hepatocellular Carcinoma

The goal of the study is to establish a cancer registry to facilitate research and assist in the identification of additional risk factors for hepatocellular carcinoma. The main objectives are: provide a mechanism to store the information about subjects with hepatocellular carcinoma use of tissue samples for translational/further research purposes

Immunohistochemical Evaluation of DNA Methylation and Histone Modification in H. Pylori Associated...

Gastric Carcinoma

The goal of this cross-sectional study is to evaluate epigenetic modifications in gastric carcinogenesis, mainly in H. pylori gastritis vs gastric carcinoma. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: How does H. pylori infection cause gastric cancer? Can DNA methylation and other epigenetic changes predict and affect the development of gastric cancer? Formalin-fixed-paraffin-embedded tissue specimens will be obtained and reviewed for comparison between epigenetic changes in H. pylori gastritis and gastric adenocarcinoma.

Ate-Bev Early Response Prediction Model in Advanced HCC

Hepatocellular CarcinomaAtezolizumab-bevacizumab1 more

The prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma is poor compared to other carcinomas. Many drugs have recently been developed, and recently, atezolizumab-bevacizumab treatment was superior to sorafenib, the conventional treatment for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma. However, there is no information on the evaluation on the evaluation of treatment response for atezolizumab-bevacizumab combination therapy compared to atezolizumab alone or bevacizumab alone. Therefore, this study aimed to create a predictive model that can detect treatment response at an early stage.

A Global Record of Patients With Anal Squamous Cell Carcinoma With and Without HIV Infection

Anal Squamous Cell CarcinomaHIV Infections

Due to the scarcity of data on prognostic and predictive influence on CCA, epidemiological studies evaluating these factors need to be developed in patients with CCA. Therefore, the investigators want to evaluate the profile of patients in the real world and from various parts of the world, describing prognostic factors such as CD4 dosage, time of HIV infection, evaluation of viral load, diagnosis of AIDS, geographic region of diagnosis and treatment, clinical staging, medications concomitant with QRT (risk of drug interactions), comorbidities (possible impact on dose-intensity), use of HAART, time of use of HAART, radiotherapy modality (conventional 3D vs Modulated Beam Intensity [IMRT], response to Nigro vs CTII regimens, as well as comparing clinical outcomes with patients without HIV infection.

Copper Cu-64 TP3805 PET/CT in Imaging Patients With Urothelial Cancer Undergoing Surgery or Biopsy...

Bladder Urothelial CarcinomaUrothelial Carcinoma

This pilot clinical trial studies how well copper Cu-64 TP3805 positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) works in imaging patients with urothelial cancer undergoing surgery or biopsy. Radioactive tracers, such as copper Cu-64 TP3805, may bind to tumor cells. PET/CT imaging performed with copper Cu-64 TP3805 may be a better way to detect urothelial cancer.

Lesion Detection Assessment in the Liver: Standard vs Low Radiation Dose Using Varied Post-Processing...

Diseases of LiverColon Carcinoma2 more

To compare 2 different image creation/processing techniques during a standard CT scan in order to "see" problems in the liver and learn which method provides better image quality. The techniques use new artificial intelligence software to decrease image noise, which helps the radiologist to evaluate.

Magnetic Resonance Whole Body Diffusion-Weighted Imaging in Finding Bone or Lymph Node Metastasis...

Prostate Carcinoma

This trial studies how well magnetic resonance whole body diffusion-weighted imaging works in finding cancer that has spread to the bone or lymph nodes (metastasis) in participants with high-risk prostate cancer. Diagnostic procedures, such as magnetic resonance whole body diffusion-weighted imaging (a method to show how water moves in a certain area) may help find bone or lymph nodes metastasis.
