The COVID-19 pandemic has deeply and globally impacted usual procedures and patients management in cancer centers. The aim of this study is to set-up and collect indicators to follow-up the activities of different cancer pathologies before and during the pandemic. Patients loss' of chance will be analysed in term of diagnosis and access to care (surgery, antineoplastic treatments). Data collection will focus on the analysis of 2 specific pathologies for French patients in the "Auvergne-Rhône Alpes" Area: peritoneal carcinosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.

Frequency and Clinical Phenotype of BAP1 Hereditary Predisposition Syndrome

This research will have a significant impact on the overall management of those cancer patients and their family members who are at risk for hereditary cancer due to germline inactivation of BAP1. Our study will ultimately facilitate the development of novel screening, prevention and treatment strategies for these individuals with the syndrome. Because the vast majority of UM develop in pre-existing nevi, characterization of individuals at high risk for development of UM will allow closer screening and earlier intervention which would improve the treatment outcome not only for retaining vision but also for overall survival. Similarly in patients with germline BAP1 mutation CM develops in premalignant atypical melanocytic lesions and careful follow up of these patients will improve the outcome of their disease. In addition this study could have impact on the management of patients with personal and/or family history of several other cancers reported in patients with germline BAP1 mutation such as mesothelioma, renal cell carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, meningioma and basal cell carcinoma.

HCC is the most common malignant liver tumor for which liver transplantation is one of the pivotal curative treatments. The best possible selection of patients who are candidates for transplantation is essential in the current context of a shortage of transplants. Performing a PET CT scan is not currently recommended in the pre-liver transplant workup for HCC. However, PET CT using in a complementary manner the FDG and Choline tracers appears promising in the management of HCC in view of its wide use in oncology and its major diagnostic and prognostic contribution compared to conventional imaging. In order to address this issue, a prospective cohort study including patients from the University Hospital of Rouen and Lille with hepatocellular carcinoma meeting the criteria for indication of liver transplantation validated in SPC will be set up, the main objective of which will be to assess the decision-making contribution of PET TDM FDG and Choline in addition to conventional imaging in the pre-transplant assessment.

Our multicenter observational study is a non-profit prospective study. The study was born from the Amplitude Project, which comprise the SOD of Minimally Invasive Robotic Urological Surgery and Renal Transplants of AOU Careggi with the University of Florence, as well as with the National Research Council (CNR) and the University of Milan Bicocca (UNIMIB) The study consists of a phase of enrollment of patients who will be admitted to the SOD of Mini Invasive Robotic Urological Surgery and Renal Transplantation of AOU Careggi. Enrollment in the study does not alter normal clinical practice and does not involve additional risks for patients. Patients will have to meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study and will be enrolled sequentially, until the established sample size is reached. Patients undergoing surgery for the removal of bladder neoplasm, be it endoscopic or surgical with radical intent (cystectomy), will be taken a fragment of tumor bladder tissue, on which histopathological analysis will be performed. In patients undergoing radical cystectomy only, a fragment of healthy urothelial tissue, free from neoplasia, will also be removed. The samples will be performed in patients under general and / or spinal anesthesia in case of TURB, thus not causing pain or discomfort to the patient, or ex-vivo on the operative piece in case of radical cystectomy, without causing further damage or pain to the patient. From these samples, specially stored in solutions that keep their characteristics unaltered, a 3D culture model (organoid) will be obtained both from cells obtained from bladder cancer and from healthy tissue on which biomolecular, metabolomic and spectroscopic characterization studies will be tested and carried out. with a view to staging and grading bladder neoplasia.
