Elucid Labs AIDA™ - Labelled Image Acquisition Protocol
Melanoma (Skin)Basal Cell Carcinoma of the Skin1 moreDiagnosis of melanoma involves physical examination of the lesion with many dermatologists adjunctively employing dermoscopes. The rate of misdiagnosis of melanoma remains significant, along with a high rate of referral to biopsy. Elucid Labs (Waterloo, Ontario) has developed a novel handheld, digital dermoscope with accompanying visualization and analysis software - the Artificial Intelligence Dermatology Assistant (AIDA™). Apart from collecting conventional demoscopic images, AIDA also collects images at various spectral bands. The aim of this study is to understand and quantify the value of this novel adjunctive information for dermatologists diagnosing atypical skin lesions.

Pilot Study on Intra-abdominal Photodynamic Diagnosis in Peritoneal Carcinosis
Peritoneal CarcinomatosisThe study would examine by hypericin-supported Fluoreszenzlaparoskopy in terms of tumor size, number and location of the combination of photodynamic diagnosis (PDD) and therapy (PDT) with regard to the detection of peritoneal metastases of locally advanced gastric cancer at 50 adult patients.
Diagnostic Performance Evaluation Study of the Xpert® Bladder Cancer Monitor Test.
Non-Invasive Bladder Urothelial CarcinomaNon-Invasive Bladder Papillary Urothelial Carcinoma3 moreNon-muscle invasive bladder tumor is a condition that can recur with a risk of progression to an infiltrating tumor of the muscle. Regular follow-up is therefore essential to detect any recurrence or progression of the disease as early as possible. Currently, the monitoring of this type of tumor is done by cystoscopy (examination that allows visualization of the bladder wall) associated with urinary cytology (analysis of urine to detect an abnormality). These examinations have their limits, they may not detect certain types of tumors or may be painful. To reduce the number of cystoscopies and replace urinary cytology, several urinary markers have been developed in recent years. This is the case of the Xpert® Bladder Cancer Monitor test, which is a non-invasive, in vitro diagnostic urine test dedicated to the monitoring of patients with bladder cancer. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the diagnostic performance of the Xpert® Bladder Cancer Monitor test for the detection of bladder tumor recurrence, compared to reference tests.
