Paclitaxel Albumin-Stabilized Nanoparticle Formulation After Cisplatin-Based Chemotherapy and Surgery...
Recurrent Bladder Urothelial CarcinomaStage IV Bladder Urothelial CarcinomaThis phase II trial studies how well paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation maintenance therapy works after cisplatin-based chemotherapy and surgery in treating patients with high-risk bladder cancer. Maintenance therapy, such as paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation, can help keep cancer from coming back after it has disappeared following initial chemotherapy.

Effect of High Dose Vitamin D on Cancer Biomarkers and Breast Cancer Tumors
Breast CancerInvasive Breast Carcinoma1 moreHigh-doses of Vitamin D (VD) may be used as targeted therapy against breast cancer. The investigators will assess the effect of high dose VD on the following biomarkers in the breast cancer cells: VDR, estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (Her2/neu), androgen receptor (AR), as well as epidermal growth factor receptor 1 (EGFR) and Ki-67, as markers of proliferation, and E-cadherin, a marker of invasion and metastasis.

Liposomal Doxorubicin Plus Gemcitabine Versus Oxaliplatin Plus Fluorouracil/Leucovorin for Hepatocellular...
Hepatocellular CarcinomaThe purpose of this study is to determine that Liposomal Doxorubicin(LD) plus Gemcitabine(GEM) is superior to Oxaliplatin(OXA) Plus Fluorouracil/Leucovorin(FOLFOX4) in prolonging progression-free survival(PFS) in patients with Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

Gemcitabine Plus Oxaliplatin Versus Oxaliplatin Plus Fluorouracil/Leucovorin for Hepatocellular...
Hepatocellular CarcinomaThe purpose of this study is to determine that Gemcitabine(GEM) plus oxaliplatin(OXA) (GEMOX) is superior to Oxaliplatin Plus Fluorouracil/Leucovorin(FOLFOX4) in prolonging progression-free survival(PFS) in patients with Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

Isolated Limb Perfusion With Melphalan in Treating Patients With Stage IIIB-IV Melanoma or Sarcoma...
Basal Cell Carcinoma of the SkinEccrine Carcinoma of the Skin9 moreThis pilot clinical trial studies isolated limb perfusion with melphalan in treating patients with stage IIIB-IV melanoma or sarcoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as melphalan, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Heating a chemotherapy solution and infusing it directly into the arteries around the tumor may kill more tumor cells.

Study of Propranolol Plus Sunitinib in First-line Treatment of Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma
Renal Cell CarcinomaThe study aims to assess antineoplastic efficacy, safety, influence on quality of life and disease-related stress of propranolol taken in combination with sunitinib in previously untreated metastatic renal cell carcinoma

A Phase II Trial Evaluating WNT974 in Patients With Metastatic Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma...
Squamous Cell CarcinomaHead And NeckGiven that up-regulation of the Wnt pathway has been identified as having a significant role in carcinogenesis in advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, the investigator believes that inhibition of Porcupine via WNT974 will result in tumor control hence improvement in disease free and overall survival in these patients with a tolerable toxicity profile. As suggested by pre-clinical models, patients with a tumor harboring a Notch receptor (any of the four) loss of function mutation may have a greater response rate to treatment with WNT974. The investigator aims to address this question by administration of single agent WNT974 and following response radiologically along with close clinical follow up to monitor toxicities.

Study Comparing AlloVax™ to Chemotherapy in Recurrent/Metastatic Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the...
Squamous Cell Carcinoma Head and NeckPhase II, Randomized, Non-Inferiority Study Comparing an Individualized Cancer Vaccine (AlloVax™) to Chemotherapy in Subjects with R/M SCCHN .

A Study of TCR-Redirected T Cell Infusion to Prevent Hepatocellular Carcinoma Recurrence Post Liver...
Hepatocellular CarcinomaHepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) recurrence rate is high among liver transplant patients, while treatment measures are limited. This study plans to recruit 39 subjects with Hepatitis B virus (HBV) related HCC after liver transplantation. The objective of the study is to assess the safety, tolerability and effectiveness of the HBV specific T cell receptor (HBV/TCR) redirected T cell in the target population.

Sequential Melphalan for Use With Hepatic Delivery System Treatment Followed by Sorafenib in Patients...
Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)This is a single arm, open label, multi-center, phase 2 study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of sequential treatment with Melphalan/HDS followed by sorafenib in patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) confined to the liver.
