Bristol Bladder Trial

Infiltrating Bladder Urothelial Carcinoma

26 patients with invasive primary transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder will receive 4 cycles of combination chemotherapy consisting of Cabazitaxel and Cisplatin both given intravenously on day 1 of each 3 weekly cycle prior to radical cystectomy, to evaluate the overall response rate and to determine whether this approach warrants further research of a phase II/III study.Participation in 2 sub studies will also be offered to the participants. Contrast Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI ) scans will be taken at baseline and after cycle 1 and cycle 3. A pilot sub study involving the circulating tumour cell concentration from blood samples taken at baseline, prior to each cycle of chemotherapy and prior to surgery

Phase II Study of Anlotinib Versus Sunitinib in Patients With Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma(RCC)...

AnlotinibRCC

Anlotibib (AL3818) is a kind of innovative medicines approved by State Food and Drug Administration(SFDA:2011L00661) which was researched by Jiangsu Chia-tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Anlotinib is a kinase inhibitor of receptor tyrosine with multi-targets, especially for VEGFR2、VEGFR3、PDGFRβ and c-Kit. It has the obvious resistance to new angiogenesis. The trial is to compare the efficacy and safety profile between Anlotinib and Sunitinib in patients with advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma(RCC).

Efficacy and Safety of TC+AVASTIN Versus TC in Patients With Metastatic Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma...

Nasopharyngeal Neoplasms

The present study will be a randomized, control, multicenter phase II study of metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) treated with evacizumab (AVASTIN,Roch) with paclitaxel and carboplatin regimen (TC+AVASTIN) or carboplatin/paclitaxel alone (TC). The population consists of metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) that failed the radical radiotherapy or chemotherapy-naïve advanced NPC (stage IV). The effectiveness and side effects will be evaluated according to RECIST 1.1 and NCI-CTC AE V4.0.TEORTC QLQ-C30 and EORTC QLQ-H&N35 are used to measure PRO outcome for this study.

Induction Gemcitabine and Cisplatin in Patients With Locoregionally Advanced Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma...

Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

The purpose of this study is to compare induction chemotherapy (gemcitabine+cisplatin) plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) with CCRT alone in patients with locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC), in order to confirm the value of induction chemotherapy in NPC patients.

Safety Study of Cord Blood-derived Cytokine-induced Killer Cells in Patients With Solid Tumor After...

Hepatocellular CarcinomaRenal Cell Carcinoma1 more

Cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells are a heterogeneous subset of ex-vivo expanded T lymphocytes which present a mixed T-NK phenotype and are endowed with a major histocompatibility complex-unrestricted antitumor activity. Radical surgery is a good therapy for patients with solid tumor. However, tumor relapse is still a risk for those patients. Our hypothsis is that cytokine induced killer cells maybe decrease the recurrence rate. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of cord blood-derived cytokine induced killer cells in patients with solid tumor following radical resection.

Neoadjuvant Sunitinib Treatment for Metastatic Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC)

Clear Cell Renal Cell CarcinomaMetastasis

The purpose of this study is to see whether neoadjuvant administration of Sunitinib reduces the size of the primary kidney tumor in patients with metastatic disease undergoing cytoreductive surgery. The study will also assess the safety of neoadjuvant Sunitinib, objective response rate, respectability of primary tumor, quality of life, and survival advantages.

Safety Study of Sorafenib Following Combined Therapy of Radiation and TACE for Liver Cancer

Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Patients with liver cancer will receive interventional therapy plus radiotherapy. Maintenance Sorafenib will be taken after the completion of radiotherapy. Hypothesis of the current study is that Sorafenib as a maintenance therapy is safe and superior to radiotherapy combined with interventional therapy in terms of survival in comparison to historical data.
