Prospective Observational Analysis Of CR With Sunitinib Treatment In mRCC Patients
Complete Remission in Renal Cell CarcinomaThis prospective study will investigate the characteristics of mRCC patients at time of CR in comparison with mRCC patients non on CR treated with Sunitinib, in order to provide some answers/ refection leads to the following questions : Can we identify blood specificity at time of CR vs non on CR? Shall we distinguish CR with sunitinib alone from combined CR (sunitinib with local treatment), while in clinical report these 2 cohorts present similar time to recurrence (ALBIGES, ASCO 2010)? Can we identify potential predictive serum biomarkers of recurrence? (With the aim of isolating blood biomarker that can help on treatment discontinuation decision?)

Procalcitonin in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Hepatocellular Carcinomathe value of serum procalcitonin in differentiation between bacterial infection and non infectious inflammation in febrile HCC patients following locoeregional treatment for HCC.
HCC Screening Using DNA Methylation Changes in ctDNA
Hepatocellular CarcinomaHepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) is the fifth most common cancer world-wide. It is particularly prevalent in Asia, and its occurrence is highest in areas where hepatitis B is prevalent, indicating a possible causal relationship. Follow up of high-risk populations such as chronic hepatitis patients and early diagnosis of transitions from chronic hepatitis to HCC would improve cure rates. In most cases HCC is detected late resulting in increased mortality and morbidity. The purpose of this study is to develop and test non-invasive biomarkers based on methylation changes in PBMC and circulated tumor DNA in hepatocellular carcinomas patients.

Elucid Labs AIDA™ - Labelled Image Acquisition Protocol
Melanoma (Skin)Basal Cell Carcinoma of the Skin1 moreDiagnosis of melanoma involves physical examination of the lesion with many dermatologists adjunctively employing dermoscopes. The rate of misdiagnosis of melanoma remains significant, along with a high rate of referral to biopsy. Elucid Labs (Waterloo, Ontario) has developed a novel handheld, digital dermoscope with accompanying visualization and analysis software - the Artificial Intelligence Dermatology Assistant (AIDA™). Apart from collecting conventional demoscopic images, AIDA also collects images at various spectral bands. The aim of this study is to understand and quantify the value of this novel adjunctive information for dermatologists diagnosing atypical skin lesions.
