China Inherited Ventricular Arrhythmias Registry

Ventricular Arrythmia

This is an observational, prospective, multi-center registry, aiming at building a risk stratification for malignant inherited ventricular arrhythmias, including Brugada syndrome(Brs)、Long QT syndrome(LQTS)、Short QT syndrome(SQTS)、Early repolarization syndrome(ERS) and Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia(CPVT). 500 participants will be recruited from 10 centers in China, with clinical data to be abstracted from medical records, and blood samples to be collected for finding related genes and promising risk indicators. The follow-up should be made every 6 months.

Incidence of Ventricular Arrhythmias in Patients With Chronic Total Occlusion Recanalization

Chronic Total Occlusion of Coronary Artery

A chronic total occlusion (CTO) is common in patients with coronary artery disease. CTO recanalization has been shown to improve survival in comparison to failed CTO recanalization. Whether this is related to ventricular arrhythmias (VA) is unknown. The purpose of this pilot study is to evaluate the incidence of VA after successful CTO recanalization and in those with failed CTO recanalization or untreated CTO. Patients will be monitored using an insertable cardiac monitor.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enabled, Cloud-based ECG Diagnostic Solution (ZBPro) Feasibility Testing...

ArrhythmiasCardiac

The proposed research is to address the accessibility and affordability of technology to capture symptomatic and asymptomatic cardiac events via Long-Term Continuous Electrocardiogram Monitoring (LTCM), and to provide physicians with full access to their patients' recorded data in a timely manner. We adopt an FDA cleared single- lead OEM patch Holter made of flexible material to make long-term wearing more comfortable and more patient compliant. The patch transmits the recorded data to our cloud-based platform: ZBPro™, where our innovative technologies reside. Our proprietary AI algorithms with innovative human interaction tools, which were developed under the National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I (Award #: 2025951) Award analyze and interpret the recorded data to detect and annotate arrhythmia/cardiac events, and generates daily reports for physician review. The feasibility of our algorithms has been verified using ZBeats' proprietary ECG database based on the standard ANSI/AAMI EC57. Data collection and transmission has been verified in the office environment. This proposed observational study will utilize a multidisciplinary collaboration of ZBeats Inc. (ZBTS), Stony Brook University (SBU), and Lankenau Medical Center (LMC). The study will enroll patients undergoing ECG monitoring. The primary outcome measure will be the ability to capture cardiac arrhythmias and events from participants. The prescribed FDA-cleared device will serve as the ground truth (GT) for our analyses. The detected arrhythmias and events from our solution will be compared with the findings from the ground truth to obtain our system's detection rate. The goal is to achieve a detection rate of >80% to be deemed successful.

Holter Versus Skiin Garments

Cardiac Arrhythmia

The goal of this observational study is to compare the electrocardiogram recording from Holter monitor with textile sensors (in the form of clothing) in patients diagnosed with arrhythmia. The study aims to answer the following questions: Can the textile sensors provide continuous monitoring and detect arrhythmias? Do patients prefer to wear textile sensors instead of the Holter? Participants that need Holter monitoring as part of their standard care will be invited to participate in the study. They will simultaneously wear both, the Holter monitor and the textile sensors for the time prescribed by their physician. Participants will also be asked to answer a questionnaire in the initial assessment and at the end of the study.

Japanese Lead Extraction Registry

ArrhythmiaCardiac

Japanese Lead Extraction (J-LEX) Registry is an observational nationwide registry, performed by Japanese Heart Rhythm Society, collaborated with the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center. The acute success rate at discharge and the complications associated with transvenous lead extraction will be collected. J-LEX registry will provide a reliable information on indications, methods, the success rate, complications and the prognosis at 30 days prognosis.

Comparison of Different Non-invasive Methods to Assess Pulse Wave Analysis

Blood PressureArterial Stiffness1 more

The primary goal of the study is to compare different methods for pulse wave measurement and analysis which are cuffless and contactless. The novel measurement tools will be compared to cuff-based reference methods.

Long Term Evaluation of Cardiac Arrhythmias After Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation -The LOCATE...

Aortic StenosisAtrial Fibrillation New Onset1 more

The purpose of the Long term Evaluation of Cardiac Arrhythmias after Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (LOCATE) Registry is to perform long-term ambulatory monitoring of patients with severe aortic stenosis who undergo trans-catheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and develop new onset conduction system abnormalities post-procedure that do not require urgent permanent pacemaker (PPM) implantation. The primary objectives of this study are to assess the incidence of late onset heart block necessitating PPM implantation and to evaluate the incidence of new onset atrial fibrillation (AF) following TAVI. This study aims to provide valuable insights into the long-term cardiac health of TAVI patients and inform the development of improved treatment strategies for aortic stenosis patients with conduction system abnormalities.

Population Pharmacokinetics of Propafenone and Propranolol in Children Patients

Arrhythmia

The use of propafenone and propranolol in children during clinical treatment was depending mostly on experience. Besides, there was no recommended dose for children in drug instruction. Therefore, the investigators' aim is to study the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in children.

RHythmia mAPping and Signal acquisitiOn for Data analYsis (RHAPSODY)

Cardiac Arrythmias

The objective of the RHAPSODY study is to evaluate the performance of new software features in subjects undergoing standard of care catheter-based endocardial mapping for atrial or ventricular tachyarrhythmias using a commercial Rhythmia Mapping System. Results from this study will be used to guide development and refinement of new software features that may be implemented in future commercial software releases.
