Cerebral Small Vessel Disease and Perioperative Covert Stroke
Cerebral Small Vessel DiseasesCovert Postoperative StrokeMOCSS study is a multicenter prospective clinical cohort study. The purpose of the MOCSS study is to investigate whether there is a correlation between the preoperative cerebral small vessel disease and the incidence of covert stroke after non-cardiac surgery. Cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) and covert stroke will be diagnosed using multimodal MRI. This study will also investigate whether preoperative CSVD and postoperative covert stroke are related to postoperative cognitive dysfunction and delirium.
Retinal, Cerebral and Vascular Precursor Markers of Cerebral Small Vessel Disease.
Cerebral Small Vessel DiseasesCognitive impairment and dementia are primarily due to a combination of vascular brain injury and neurodegenerative lesions. The vascular component is now recognized as a major contributor to the pathophysiology of dementia, with small vessel disease (SVD) being its most frequent substrate. This study aims to collect retinal microvascular markers as well as various parameters related to blood pressure and arterial stiffness, in a young adult population. The main objective is to explore the association between these parameters and structural changes on brain MRI. Results will allow to determine the most relevant biomarkers associated with very early brain imaging markers of SVD.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Cerebral Small Vessel Disease
Cerebral Small Vessel DiseasesMRICerebral small vessel disease (cSVD) accounts for 20% of ischemic strokes and is the most common cause of vascular cognitive impairment. Early identification of cSVD is critical for early intervention and improve clinical outcomes. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may represent as a sensitive and robust tool to detect early changes in brain subtle structures and functions. The study is to investigate the comprehensive evaluation of brain structures and vascular functions by using advanced MRI technologies in early diagnosis and management of cSVD.
Evaluation of Small Vessel Disease by 3D-rotational Angiography
StrokeAcute3 moreThis study is aimed to elucidate the factors affecting the remodeling process of arteriolosclerosis under current practice recommendations. Such knowledge may improve the understanding of cerebral small vessel disease (cSVD) mechanism, define pharmacological therapy and suggest treatment target.
China Imaging-based Biobank of Cerebral Small Vessal Diseases
Cerebral Small Vessel DiseasesThe purpose of this study is to build a national image-based comprehensive evaluation platform of CSVD through longitudinal collection of imaging based medical data of patients with cerebral small vessel diseases (CSVD). On this basis, the new classification and diagnostic criteria of CSVD are proposed, and the risk prediction model of CSVD is established. By evaluating the prognostic factors of CSVD, early identification of high-risk CSVD population.
Cerebral Small Vessel Disease Registry Study
Cerebral Small Vessel DiseasesThe aim of this study is to determine the clinical spectrum and natural progression of Cerebral Small Vessel Disease (CSVD) and in a prospective multicenter study, to assess the clinical, genetic and epigenetic features of patients with CSVD, , to find independent imaging markers, and to optimize clinical management.
Prognosis of Cerebral Small Vessel Disease
Cerebral Amyloid AngiopathySmall Vessel Cerebrovascular Disease2 morePrognosis of small vessel disease (SVD) depends on the underlying type of SVD and index manifestation. The aim of this prospective, observational cohort study is to determine the risk of different outcome events among patients with SVD according to the type of index presentation.
Effects of Amlodipine and Other Blood Pressure Lowering Agents on Microvascular Function
Cerebral Small Vessel DiseasesMulticentre, multinational, prospective randomised, open-label, 3 sequence crossover phase III b clinical trial with blinded endpoint assessment (PROBE-design) in 75 patients with sporadic small vessel diseases (SVDs) and in 30 patients with cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL)
