Neuropsychological and Brain Medical Imaging Study in Patients With Brain Damage 2
Cerebrovascular DisordersBrain Lesion2 moreTwo groups of subjects will be constitute: (i) patients with circumscribed brain injury (including stroke, vascular malformations, tumor or circumscribed infectious lesions) or degenerative/developmental disorders and selective cognitive disorders; (ii) healthy control subjects. The objective of this project is to evaluate specific neuropsychological deficits and apply current brain imaging techniques (anatomical, diffusion, functional, magnetic stimulation) to patients suffering from these cognitive deficits due to brain damage, in order to elucidate the brain mechanisms underlying these deficits.
Coronary Microvascular Angina Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CorCMR) Trial
Microvascular AnginaAngina Pectoris5 moreAnginal symptoms due to ischaemia with no obstructive coronary arteries (INOCA) is a common clinical problem, however, diagnosis and onward management is heterogeneous, and prognosis is affected. Recent advances in quantifying myocardial blood flow using stress perfusion cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) has potential for accurate detection coronary microvascular dysfunction. The CorCMR diagnostic study involves stress perfusion CMR in patients with suspected INOCA to clarify the prevalence of subgroups of patients with underlying problems, such as microvascular disease or undisclosed obstructive coronary artery disease, that might explain their anginal symptoms. A nested, prospective, randomised, controlled, double-blind trial will determine whether stratified medical therapy guided by the results of the stress perfusion CMR improves symptoms, well-being, cardiovascular risk and health and economic outcomes.
Brain Diseases on 7.0T Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Brain TumorMRI1 moreThis clinical trial studies the use of 7-Tesla (7T)and 3T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in detecting brain diseases. 7T MRI has increased detection sensitivity, including more accurate lesion delineation, higher inter-rater agreement. Diagnostic procedures such as 7T MRI may help ultimately improved diagnostic and therapies confidence to inform decision making than standard 3T MRI.

Cerebrovascular DisordersBrain Diseases4 moreThis study aims to investigate whether a live stream video between the on-call neurologist and the emergency medical services is feasible.
Blood Pressure Reduction to Limit the Evolution of Vascular Brain Lesions in Elderly Individuals...
Cerebrovascular DisordersThe purpose of the study is to test the hypothesis of slowing the progression of White Matter Lesions (WML) by lowering blood pressure (BP) in patients with cognitive complaints and a moderate to high grade of WML on brain MRI.
Association Analysis of Cardiovascular and Nervous System Diseases and Intestinal Microbiome Based...
Nervous System DiseasesCardiovascular and Cerebrovascular DiseasesResearch purpose Combined with multi-omics data and advanced data mining methods, we explored the pathogenesis and potential application pathway of intestinal microbiome mediated by specific cardiovascular diseases (such as idiopathic ventricular tachycardia, stenosis after coronary artery stenting injury, etc.) and nervous system diseases (such as carotid atherosclerosis, moyamoya disease, etc.). The secondary goal of this study is the construction of risk prediction model. Based on the pathogenesis identified by multi-omics association analysis, detailed dietary information and clinical information related to cardiovascular and nervous system diseases, the risk of cardiovascular and nervous system diseases was assessed and the disease risk model was constructed. Based on the key genes and microorganisms excavated, disease-related machine learning models can be built, and models can be built to prevent and treat diseases. Research background Cardiovascular and nervous system diseases such as arrhythmias (atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, postoperative vascular stenosis injury, etc.), heart failure, atherosclerosis (coronary heart disease, stroke, peripheral vascular disease, carotid atherosclerosis, etc.), epilepsy, moyamoya disease, etc., are currently leading to the main diseases affecting the health and death of residents in China. Through the unremitting efforts of many scientists, the research on the association between intestinal flora and cardiovascular diseases (ventricular tachycardia/atrial fibrillation, carotid atherosclerosis, etc.) and nervous system diseases (Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, carotid atherosclerosis, etc.) has made breakthrough progress. However, the study of gut microbiota is still in its infancy, and it is not possible to deeply understand the complex regulatory processes between heart disease and nervous system diseases and gut microbiota, involving a large number of host genes, host metabolites, and associated bacteria and bacteria-related metabolites. Based on multi-omics data, the data integration method combined with machine learning analyzes the connection between cardiovascular and nervous system and gut microbes, helping to deepen the research on the mechanism related to heart disease and nervous system under the regulation of gut microbes and providing new ideas for the prevention and treatment of related diseases. This study will also promote the implementation of clinical interventions with precise flora and provide new ideas for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and neurological diseases.
Pharmacokinetics of Oral Antiplatelet Agents After Distal Gastrectomy
Stomach NeoplasmCardiovascular Diseases1 moreThis study is aimed to investigate the changes in pharmacokinetics and efficacy of antiplatelet agents before and after distal gastrectomy in gastric cancer patients taking oral antiplatelet agents for primary or secondary treatment for cardiovascular disease and to evaluate its impact on the occurrence of postoperative bleeding complications and thromboembolic events.
Genetic, Metabolic, and Growth Factor Repository for Cerebrovascular Disorders
Cerebrovascular DiseasesIschemic Stroke1 moreThis study encompasses the maintenance and utilization of a repository of samples from patients with cerebrovascular disease and stroke. The types of tissue taken are blood, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), tissue, and microdialysis samples. Future analysis of these samples can potentially help investigators to better categorize groups of patients, understand the underlying etiology of these pathologies, identify markers that are associated with favorable or poor outcomes, and track changes that occur during the natural course of the disease or with treatment. This is a prospective observational study which will use samples from such patients to create this library which can be used to explore these questions in the future.

Inhaled Nitric Oxide in Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients Undergoing Mechanical Thrombectomy
Cerebrovascular DisordersAcute Cerebrovascular DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to determine the safety and feasibility of using inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) in patients undergoing intra-arterial mechanical thrombectomy (blood clot extraction or IAMT) for treatment of acute ischemic (non-bleeding) stroke (AIS).
