Diffusion MRI; Predictive Value for Cervical Uterine Cancer Recurrence
Uterine Cervical CancerDiffusion-weighted MRI1 moreUterine cervical cancer is the second most common female malignancy. Therapy monitoring is essential to detect early recurrence. Diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging is an emerging MRI imaging technique which has a potential value for the detection of primary and recurrent disease and for the assessment of response to therapy. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the predictive value of DWI during and after therapy in the prediction of recurrence of cervical uterine cancer. It will be considered whether DWI is able to provide early information about the response to therapy. This could enable the identification of less- or non-responsive tumors and in this way therapy can be adapted as soon as possible. Hence the investigators could offer the patient a more efficient treatment scheme and a reduction in toxicity related to the treatment could be established.

Sexual Functioning in Cervical Cancer Survivors
Cervical CancerObjectives: Primary Objectives: To assess the entire range of sexual functioning (desire, arousal, orgasmic capacity, dyspareunia, and sexual satisfaction) over the course of treatment and early follow-up in patients with local and locally advanced cervical cancer; To assess general cancer-related QOL over the course of treatment and early follow-up in patients with local and locally advanced cervical cancer; To characterize the relationship between sexual dysfunction and overall cancer-related QOL over time; and To identify factors that may predict better sexual function outcomes in patients treated for cervical cancer. Secondary Objectives: Describe vaginal changes objectively via measurement of vaginal length. Demonstrate reliability of the vaginal length instrument and its applicability to future studies.
Analysis of the Results of Treatment for Cervical Carcinoma in Limburg
Cervical CancerAnalysis of all women treated for cervical cancer between 2000 and 2008 in Limburg, a province in the south of the Netherlands. Patient characteristics, diagnosis, treatment modalities, complications and survival will be analyzed by record review. Quality of life of the living study population will be assessed using the EORTC QLQ-C30 and QOQ-CX24 questionnaire. Patients will be identified via registration data from the Integraal Kankercentrum Limburg.

Specifically, this retrospective study will analyze the database collected by CLIMACS, the computer system at Cornell Internal Medicine Associates (CIMA). This system is used for clinical and administrative purposes; it manages and tracks patient's information and demographics, appointment booking, clinical diagnosis, prescriptions and medications, laboratory and radiology test, and consults. In our study, we will analyze a subset of the CLIMACS database from previous years.

ImageBody1 moreThis pilot study aims to monitor early tumour response based on [18F]FLT-PET/MRI scans and to determine the feasibility of personalised radiotherapy to spare active bone marrow areas identified by [18F]FLT-PET/MRI. Bone marrow within the pelvis will be outlined by employing 18FLT PET to identify active BM within bony structures. Subsequently, treatment plans with various conformal radiotherapy techniques will be generated with different optimization approaches toward bone marrow while ensuring adequate tumor coverage. Dosimetric comparison amongst plans will be carried out.
