Acute Cholecystitis: Early Versus Delayed Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy; Randomized Prospective Study...

Acute Cholecystitis

The best management of the acute cholecystitis is to do laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The hypothesis is that to do it as an early intervention after patient admission is better than delayed cholecystectomy regarding the hospital stay, interval for antibiotic, the easiness of the operative maneuver reflected by operative time, conversion and intraoperative complications.

ONSD According to the Position During Laparoscopy

CholecystitisOvarian Cyst3 more

Increase of intracerebral pressure (ICP) during laparoscopic surgery has known to be associated with positional changes. Optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) has correlation with ICP and ultrasonographic measurement of optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) is known to be a noninvasive and rapidly applicable technique for evaluating ICP. The aim of this study is to investigate the change of ONSD according to the positional change during laparoscopic surgery.

Video-assisted Umbilical Fascial Closure in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Cholelithiasis (Without Cholecystitis)Pain2 more

A prospective randomized study was performed including consecutive patients who underwent an elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) for symptomatic cholelithiasis during the 18 months period. This prospective randomized trial aims to compare two umbilical closure techniques for trocar site hernia (TSH) in laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Role of the Right Portal Pedicle and Rouviere's Sulcus as an Anatomic Landmark in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy...

GallstonesCholecystitis1 more

Objective:To explore the role of the right portal pedicle and Rouviere's sulcus as an anatomic landmark in laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods:The investigators are going to select 60 patients intending to perform Laparoscopic cholecystectomy from April 2014 to April 2015.Check out the presence of the right portal pedicle and Rouviere's sulcus during the surgery and divide into the experimental group and the control group.Experimental group operated in Laparoscopic cholecystectomy with the guide of Rouviere's sulcus while the Control group operated with the traditional way. Research hypothesis:Compare the differences between the Experimental group and the Control group in bile duct injury rate, complication rate, blood loss, operative time ,conversion rate and hospital stay.It is supposed that the results of Experimental group are superior to the control group, difference is statistically significant(P<0.05). So the investigators can draw the conclusion that the anatomy method with the guide of right portal pedicle and Rouviere's sulcus is useful in laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Drainage or Not for Laparoscopic Cholecystetomy

CholecystitisCholecystolithiasis2 more

Surgeons usually choosing drainage tube for laparoscopic cholecystectomy according to their experiences but not guidelines. The investigators design a RCT to evaluate the role of drainage in LC surgery and compare the clinical results between drainage and no drainage.

Study of Left Side of Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Cholecystitis

Prospectively selected 100 cases of patients who suffered from gallstones ro cholecystic polypus and treated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy in our hospital. Randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group preserve the main cystic artery, and the control group treated with conventional laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Collection of statistics: including general data(gender, age, BMI, etc.), time of surgery, intraoperative blood loss, incidence of surgical complications (delayed hemorrhage, biliary injury, etc.) and postoperative pain score, etc.

Drainage is Not Necessary Procedure After Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Due to Severe Acute Cholecystitis...

Acute CholecystitisEmpyema

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) is the current preferred method of cholecystectomy. The role of routine drainage after LC to decrease postoperative morbidity is still an issue of considerable debate. The goal of this study was to assess to role of drains in LC, performed for acute inflamed gallbladder.

Diagnostic Performance of Low-Dose CT for Acute Abdominal Conditions

Abdominal PainAcute Pain3 more

The goal of this non-inferiority observational study is to assess the diagnostic performance of low-dose CT with deep learning image reconstruction (DLIR) in adult participants with acute abdominal conditions. The main research question is: • Can low-dose CT with DLIR achieve the same diagnostic performance as standard CT for the diagnosis of acute abdominal conditions. Participants will be examined with an additional low-dose CT directly after the standard CT. Participant will be their own controls.
