A Trial for Patients With Gestational Trophoblastic Disease
Trophoblastic NeoplasmsUterine Neoplasms2 moreThis phase II study is evaluating the activity of Pemetrexed in patients diagnosed with low risk Gestational Trophoblastic Tumor (GTT) that have failed prior treatment.
Changes in Brain Function in Patients With Stage I, Stage II, Stage III, or Stage IV Ovarian, Primary...
Cognitive Side Effects of Cancer TherapyMalignant Ovarian Epithelial Tumor52 moreThis clinical trial is studying changes in brain function in patients with stage I, stage II, stage III, or stage IV ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer who are receiving chemotherapy. Learning about the effects of chemotherapy on brain function may help doctors plan cancer treatments.
DNA Analysis in Samples From Younger Patients With Germ Cell Tumors and Their Parents or Siblings...
Childhood Malignant Ovarian Germ Cell TumorChildhood Malignant Testicular Germ Cell Tumor10 moreThis research trial studies deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) samples from younger patients with germ cell tumor and their parents or siblings. Studying samples of tumor tissue and saliva from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to cancer.
Conformation of Beta Human Chorionic Gonadotropin During Chemotherapy for Choriocarcinoma
Trophoblastic NeoplasmsChoriocarcinomaGestational trophoblastic disease comprises a spectrum of diseases with different propensity for local invasion and metastasis, that is, partial and complete hydatidiform mole, choriocarcinoma, and placental site trophoblastic tumor. All trophoblastic tumors produce hCG, and monitoring of therapy is largely based on the determination of hCG in serum. The conformational change of tumor markers during antineoplastic chemotherapy for cancer and its clinical meaning has only been rarely studied. In this study, we will try to understand the conformational change of the tumor marker (hCG) during chemotherapy.
Clinical Database and Biobank of Patients With Gynecologic Neoplasms
Cervical CancerOvarian Cancer4 moreThe database and biobank establishment started in 1997 in our institute. However, the sample size was too small with respect to our clinical and fundamental scientific research's requirement. Thus the Chinese gynecological oncology study (GOS) group was established to create a large multicentre database and biobank of patients with gynecologic diseases.
