A Phase II Trial of Sofosbuvir (SOF) and GS-5816 for People With Chronic Hepatitis C Virus Infection...

Hepatitis C

To evaluate the proportion of patients with undetectable HCV RNA at 12 weeks post end of treatment (SVR12) following sofosbuvir/GS-5816 therapy for 12 weeks in people with chronic HCV infection and recent injection drug use.

Single and Multiple Dose Study of Uprifosbuvir (MK-3682/IDX21437) in Healthy and Hepatitis C Virus...

Chronic Hepatitis C

This is a multi-part study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of uprifosbuvir (MK-3682/IDX21437) in healthy participants and in participants infected with Hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype (GT)1-GT6. The effect of food on the PK of uprifosbuvir will be evaluated. The antiviral activity of uprifosbuvir will also be assessed in HCV-infected participants.

Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of ABT-450/Ritonavir/ABT- 267 (ABT-450/r/ABT-267) in Japanese...

Hepatitis C Virus

This is a Phase 3, randomized, open-label, multicenter study, enrolling non-cirrhotic and cirrhotic subjects. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ABT-450/r/ABT-267 co-administered with weight-based RBV for 12 or 16 weeks in adult chronic HCV genotype 2-infected treatment-naïve and interferon (IFN) treatment-experienced subjects with and without compensated cirrhosis.

Japanese Phase II Study of SB-497115-GR in Hepatitis C Virus Infected Patients

Hepatitis CChronic

The purpose of this study is to assess the ability of SB-497115-GR to raise platelet counts in thrombocytopenic patients with hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection (platelet count <80,000 /μL, suggestive of compensated cirrhosis) to a level desirable to initiate antiviral therapy and to assess the ability of SB-497115-GR to maintain platelet counts at a level sufficient to minimise dose reductions of pegylated interferon (Peg-IFN) and ribavirin (RBV) therapy with the expectation that a lower rate of Peg-IFN dose reduction and omission will translate to a higher rate of sustained viral response.

Hepatitis CChronic Hepatitis C

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, and affect on blood levels of miravirsen and telaprevir when administered together.

HIV Patients With Chronic Hepatitis C Genotype 1 Infection Who Failed Previously to Peginterferon...

Hepatitis CHIV Infections1 more

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a Response Guided Therapy of boceprevir 800 mg dosed three times a day (TID) orally (PO) in combination with Peginterferon (either alpha 2b or alpha 2a) and Ribavirin in HIV/HCV genotype 1 infected patients that failed to previous HCV therapy.

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Effect of the Experimental Drugs ABT-450/Ritonavir/ABT-267 (ABT-450/r/ABT-267)...

Chronic Hepatitis C Infection

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and antiviral activity of ABT-450/ritonavir/ABT-267 (ABT-450/r/ABT-267; ABT-450 also known as paritaprevir; ABT-267 also known as ombitasvir) and ABT-333 (also known as dasabuvir) with and without ribavirin (RBV) in patients with chronic hepatitis C virus genotype 1b (HCV GT1b) infection without cirrhosis.

A Study of Pegasys (Peginterferon Alfa-2a) Administered Alone or in Combination With Copegus (Ribavirin)...

Hepatitis CChronic

This open-label, non-randomized, single arm study will provide treatment or re-treatment with Pegasys (peginterferon alfa-2a) as monotherapy or in combination with Copegus (ribavirin) to patients with chronic hepatitis C infection. Patients who have received prior Pegasys monotherapy or combination therapy or who were considered eligible for treatment with Pegasys in previous donor protocols will be eligible to participate in this study. Treatment will be on investigator's decision according to the approved label for up to 48 weeks, with a 24-week safety follow-up.

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Three Experimental Drugs Compared With Telaprevir...

Chronic Hepatitis C Infection

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and antiviral activity of 3 direct-acting antiviral agents (DAAs; ABT-450/ritonavir/ABT-267 [ABT-450/r/ABT-267; ABT-267 also known as ombitasvir] and ABT-333 [also known as dasabuvir]) plus ribavirin (RBV) compared with telaprevir (TPV) with pegylated interferon/ribavirin (pegIFN/RBV) in patients with chronic hepatitis C virus genotype 1 (HCV GT1) infection without cirrhosis who were previously treated with pegylated interferon/ribavirin (pegIFN/RBV).

Safety and Efficacy Study of Single Doses of TT-034 in Patients With Chronic Hepatitis C

Hepatitis C

The study is a first in man, dose escalation study that will measure the safety and efficacy of TT-034 in the treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis C. The study is divided into 5 dose levels. Subjects will be given a single dose delivered by IV infusion. The subjects will be monitored and the data analyzed. After a set time, between 6 and 10 weeks depending on the dose level, the next set of subjects will be dosed. The study drug is a gene therapy treatment that produces molecules that destroy the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) in infected cells. Once the study drug is given, it cannot be withdrawn. Additionally, once an individual receives a dose, he or she will not be able to receive a second dose, but will remain eligible to receive most other HCV treatments.
