Prevalence of Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease in Assiut...
CKDNAFLDThe goal of this observational study is to detect the prevalence of NAFLD in CKD patients The main question[s] it aims to answer are: [question 1] prevalence of NAFLD in CKD patients. [question 2] the relationship between NAFLD and CKD.

Chronic Kidney DiseasesManifestation1 moreTo study the patterns of mucocutaneous disorders in Chronic Kidney Disease patients in Eldakhla General Hospital, New Valley and in Assiut University hospital . Comparison of the patterns of mucocutaneous manifestations and their correlation with the different stages of Chronic Kidney Disease in renal unit of internal medicine of Eldakhla general hospital in New Vally and pediatric and adult renal units of Assuit university hospital .
Mechanisms of Muscle Blood Flow Dysregulation and Exercise Intolerance in Chronic Kidney Disease...
Chronic Kidney DiseasePatients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) experience fatigue and exercise intolerance. Increased oxidative stress in CKD may be a contributing factor. The role of impaired muscle blood flow regulation has not been fully explored. The investigators hypothesize that functional sympatholysis is exaggerated in CKD and this is associated with increased oxidative stress. The investigators also hypothesize that exercise training will improve functional sympatholysis and oxidative stress
Applications of MRI in Kidney Disease
Chronic Kidney DiseaseEnd-stage Kidney DiseaseThis study has two major purposes: To test developed multiple anatomic and functional MRI methods; To evaluate the potentials of these MRI methods in the diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring of the progression of renal dysfunction. These purposes will be achieved by performing pilot studies with cohorts of patients.
Efficacy and Safety of Deferiprone in Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease Undergoing a Cardiac...
Acute Kidney InjuryThis trial will evaluate whether treatment with CRMD001 (unique formulations of the iron chelator, Deferiprone) will reduce morbidity and mortality in subjects with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and additional risk factors. Adult subjects with moderate to severe CKD who are undergoing diagnostic or interventional coronary angiography will be randomized to either placebo or CRMD001 and followed for 90 days. Subjects will receive 8 days of randomized therapy starting 1-3 hours prior to angiography. The primary endpoint of the trial will be the difference in a composite of specified renal and cardiovascular clinical events occurring through Day 90.
Nephrotoxicity of Iopamidol Versus Iodixanol in High-Risk Patients
Chronic Renal DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to compare the incidence of contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) following the administration of iopamidol-370 (Iopamiro-370) and iodixanol-320 (Visipaque 320) in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing coronary angiography.
Renal Safety of Iopamidol Versus Iodixanol During Coronary Angiography in Diabetic Patients
Chronic Renal ImpairmentDiabetes MellitusThe purpose of this study is to compare the incidence of contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) following the administration of iopamidol-370 (Iopamiro-370) and iodixanol-320 (Visipaque 320) in patients with moderate-to-severe chronic kidney disease and diabetes mellitus undergoing cardiac angiography.
Cardiovascular Disease in Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease: Polish Kidney- Heart Project
Chronic Kidney DiseaseCardiovascular DiseasesThis is an observational longitudinal study which will collect routine demographic, laboratory and clinical parameters of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in the Silesian and Warmia and Mazury Regions (Poland) aimed at predicting incident cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular and renal events using machine learning and artificial intelligence approaches.
Tunisian Clinical Registry on Chronic Kidney Disease in Hypertensive Patients
Chronic Kidney DiseasesHypertensionIn Tunisia, high blood pressure (HTN) is a public health problem whose prevalence varies from 28.7% to 34.7%. Hypertension can be both, cause and consequence of chronic kidney disease, and its prevalence is quite high in this population. It is both a risk factor for mortality and cardiovascular morbidity, but also a major cause of terminal chronic kidney disease becoming an additional public health concern. Detecting and diagnosing chronic kidney in all hypertensives at an early stage remains a global public health challenge. A well-conducted treatment makes it possible to reach the blood pressure objective but also to reduce the risk of occurrence of a cardiovascular event and to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease. In Tunisia, few data exists concerning the prevalence of chronic kidney disease in hypertensive subjects, thus limiting the development and elaboration of preventive measures. A national survey will thus be conducted by the "Kidney and Metabolic Diseases" Working Group under the aegis of the Tunisian Society of Nephrology, Dialysis and Kidney Transplantation. The main objective is to estimate the prevalence of chronic kidney disease in hypertensive tunisian patients.
A Study to Examine Past Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) Slope as a Risk Marker for Rapid...
Chronic Kidney DiseaseThis study is intended to investigate the usefulness of estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) slopes derived from retrospective routine clinical practice data, compare those retrospective slopes with those generated in a prospective fashion and successively identify rapidly progressing chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients.
