Evaluation of Post Operative Pain Following Reciprocating and Rotary Heat-treated NiTi Instrumentation...

Root Canal Infection

The present clinical evaluation was planned for comparing the post-operative pain incidence in maxillary premolar teeth with acute irreversible pulpitis treated by recently introduced heat treated TruNatomy TM and other widely studied heat-treated files Hyflex EDM, Protaper Gold and one heat-treated reciprocating EdgeFile in single-visit root canal treatment.

Neural Integrity Monitor Electromyogram (NIM-EMG) Endotracheal Tube Intubation With Video Laryngoscope...

Intubation; Difficult or FailedAirway Complication of Anesthesia3 more

Laryngeal nerve monitoring is performed to prevent intraoperative nerve damage in thyroidectomy operations. NIM-EMG intubation tube is used while monitoring the recurrent laryngeal nerve. Care should be taken when placing this tube. Ensure that the electrodes on the tube are in contact with the vocal cords. Both the macintosh laryngoscope and the videolaryngoscope can be used when inserting the NIM-EMG tube. The aim of our study is to compare these two intubation methods.

Effect Of XP Endo Finisher Versus Ultrasonic Activated Irrigation On Post-operative Pain In Endodontic...

Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis

Recruited patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis are assigned to interventional (XP Endo Finisher file) and control group(ultrasonic activated irrigation) to undergo single visit endodontic treatment and record postoperative pain afterwards.

Ultrasound Guided Transversus Abdominis Plane Block in Pediatric Surgery

Postoperative Pain

The primary objective of this study is to assess differences in postoperative pain experienced by pediatric patients having transversus abdominis plane block block with bupivacaine (0.125% and 0.25%) compared with control group will receive conventional iv analgesia after Laparoscopic surgery.

Patient Re-education vs. Background Morphine to IV-PCA in Patient With Unsatisfactory Analgesia...

Post-operative Pain

The purpose of this study is to improve IV-Patient Controlled Analgesia (IV-PCA) technique for postoperative analgesia. Investigators are comparing between patient re-education and the background morphine infusion among patients who fail to achieve satisfactory analgesia using IV-PCA Morphine after laparotomy.

A Trial for Peroperative Procedure and Postoperative Pain After Rectal Misoprostol or Rectal Hyoscine...

Hysteroscopic SurgeryPain1 more

Dilatation of the cervix is necessary before operative hysteroscopic procedures. This dilatation with Hegar dilators has certain difficulties and is associated with pain. Cervical priming with various substances soften the cervix, ease the entry for the operation and decrease complications such as uterine perforation. The investigators aimed to compare rectally administered "misoprostol" and" hyoscine butyl bromide" with sham protocol.

The Effect of Parecoxib Sodium Intravenous Patient-controlled Analgesia in Laparotomic Liver Resection...

PainPostoperative

The investigators hypothesized that using new intravenous infusion pump of patient-controlled analgesia (parecoxib sodium 1 mg/mL + normal saline) would significantly improve postoperative pain control compare to conventional intravenous infusion pump of patient-controlled analgesia (fentanyl citrate 20 mg/mL/kg + ondansetron hydrochloride 16 mg/8 mL + normal saline). This prospective randomized controlled trial was designed to evaluate the benefit of new intravenous infusion pump of patient-controlled analgesia (parecoxib sodium 1 mg/mL + normal saline) for postoperative analgesia after laparotomic liver resection.

3D Instrumentation Versus Rotary Instrumentation

Postoperative Pain

enrollment of the patient after diagnosis, radiographic evaluation, and signing the informed consent. allocation of the patient to either intervention or control group. After anaesthesia and access cavity, the first root canal sample will be taken. Endodontic treatment will be completed in one visit. The second root canal sample will be taken. Patients will be asked to evaluate their postoperative pain level using VAS scale at 6, 12, 24 hours, and daily up to 5 days. Patients will record the number of analgesics if any taken.
