Randomized clinical trial to evaluate whether a single pre-operative dose of Pregabalin will alleviate post-operative pain and decrease post-operative analgesic requirements in morbidly obese patients undergoing laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery.

The purpose of this study is to compare pain level (according to numerical score)at 4, 8, 12 and 24 postoperative hours between patients under transverse abdominal plain blockade (TAP) and patients under conventional analgesia. Also the opioid consumption is assessed.

In this multicenter, randomised, placebo-controlled, double-blind trial, hyperalgesia area around the scarce following colorectal laparoscopic surgery (piece removal) will be assessed in 3 groups of patients : group 1: continuous ropivacaine preperitoneal infusion, group 2 : intravenous lidocaine infusion, or group 3 : control group without local anesthetics. All patients will receive parenteral analgesia combining acetaminophen and morphine.

When post-operative parenteral analgesia is discontinued, oral dosing with study medication may begin once the subject has developed a moderate level of pain as defined by a 100 mm VAS (pain intensity score greater than or equal to 40). Hypothesis: The combined use of Clonidine and Morphine in caudal anesthesia provides better postoperative analgesia than either drug alone after urogenital pediatric surgery.

The aim of the study is to quantify postoperative pain after functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) and investigate whether preemptive analgesia may positively impact intraoperative anesthetic management, decrease patient postoperative pain and discomfort, and improve patient functional outcomes.

Here,the investigators undertook novel uniportal VATS technique involving a subxiphoid route for pulmonary lobectomies or segmentectomies.We would like to evaluate the post-operative pain and quality of life between Subxiphoid and Intercostal VATS for Lung Cancer.
