Dexamethasone/ Erector Spinae Plane Block Analgesia in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Post Operative Pain

Although considered a minimally invasive procedure, laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) frequently results in moderate to severe immediate postoperative pain.

Postoperative Pain Score of Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgeries

Surgical IncisionGynecologic Surgery1 more

In this study, it was aimed to compare the embryonic route, the umbilicus, and the sub-umbilicus incision in terms of postoperative pain scoring. For this purpose, in laparoscopic hysterectomies performed for benign reasons, it is planned to measure the pain score at the 8th hour and 1st day postoperatively in the umbilicus and subumbilical incision. Visual analog scoring system will be used for pain scoring.

Longitudinal Assessment of Pain-Related Patient-Reported Outcomes After Surgery

PainPostoperative6 more

Little is known about pain-related outcomes experienced by patients in the first few weeks after surgery, once they are discharged from hospital. This study aims to characterize pain, pain-related interference, and early neuropathic pain in the sub-acute phase after surgery.

Comparison of TAP, Anterior QL, or ESP Block for Elective Cesarean Section

PainPostoperative1 more

The purpose of this prospective single center, randomized study is to determine if ultrasound guided Transversus Abdominis Plane (TAP), Quadratus Lumborum (QL), and Erector Spinae Plane (ESP) blocks decrease opioid consumption in subjects undergoing elective cesarean section.

Cold Therapy for Pain Control Following Caesarean Section

Post Operative Pain

Cold Therapy has been used for a variety of procedures and has been studied in several but not recently studied for reducing postop pain following Caesarean Sections. The hypothesis is that Cold Therapy will reduce postop pain and increase patients mobility and improve care of her newborn.

Application of the ICE-T Postoperative Multimodal Pain Regimen to Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

PainPostoperative

This is a randomized controlled trial evaluating whether application of ice packs and scheduled ketorolac to the surgical site after laparoscopic hysterectomy reduces need for narcotic medications.

Post-Operative Analgesic Efficacy Of Ultrasound Guided Pericapsular Nerve Group Block Versus Combined...

Post Operative Pain

Recently, the Combined suprascapular nerve block and axillary nerve block (SSNB+ANB) was proposed to provide anesthesia and postoperative analgesia for shoulder surgery as a safe alternative to interscalene block. These two peripheral nerves are responsible for the majority of the sensory innervation of the shoulder. PENG block has been studied extensively in hip surgeries, but its place in shoulder surgeries is not yet clear. It is a new technology reported for block of articular branches of the shoulder and well pericapsular spread around the glenohumeral joint Therefore, achieving pain relief while avoiding motor block allows us not only to provide an early rehabilitation program in the postoperative period, but also to control the chronic nociceptive activation secondary to pain-induced movement

The Effectiveness of Local Infiltration Technique in Adult Tonsillectomy

Post Operative Pain

Tonsillectomy is commonly associated with postoperative pain. The modified pre-incision infiltration of anesthetic mixture combined with general anesthesia was shown to decrease post-tonsillectomy pain in children. Hence, the present clinical trial will assess the effectiveness of this technique in adults undergoing tonsillectomy.
