Heart Rate Variability and Nocturnal Blood Oxygen Saturation in Patients With Idiopathic Pulmonary...
Idiopathic Pulmonary FibrosisThe goal of this observational study is to compare the overnight heart rate variability (HRV) and nocturnal oxygen saturation (SpO2) in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). The main questions it aims to answer are: (1). if there are correlations between pulmonary function test and HRV and overnight SpO2; (2). if HRV and SpO2 can predict the occurrence of acute exacerbation in patients with IPF. Participants will be asked to examine pulmonary function test (including lung volumes and six-minute walk test) and wear pulse oxygenation recorder and "LARGAN" ECG Holter" ("LARGAN HEALTH TECHNOLOGY" Sleep Apnea And Sleep Quality Examination System) during sleep.
Urinary Tract Infections in Cirrhosis
Liver CirrhosisUrinary Tract InfectionsEvaluate the prevalence and types of urinary tract infections, the features of the gut and urinary tract microbiota in cirrhosis, to assess its importance in the development of complications and outcomes of cirrhosis.
Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Community Registry
Pulmonary FibrosisInterstitial Lung Disease2 morePulmonary fibrosis (PF) results from a diverse group of health conditions and affects the lives of patients (including those who are post lung transplant), caregivers and family members. The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Community Registry will offer an online portal where participants can self-enroll and directly contribute information about their experience with PF to be compiled into a longitudinal data set for use by researchers.
Impact of Acute Kidney Injury on Sarcopenia and Frailty in Patients With Liver Cirrhosis
CirrhosisKidney Injury2 moreThe aim of this prospective observational study is to evaluate the impact of acute kidney injury on sarcopenia and frailty in patients with liver cirrhosis.
Genetic Studies of Strabismus, Congenital Cranial Dysinnervation Disorders (CCDDs), and Their Associated...
Congenital Fibrosis of Extraocular MusclesDuane Retraction Syndrome26 moreThe purpose of this study is to identify genes associated with impaired development and function of the cranial nerves and brainstem, which may result in misalignment of the eyes (strabismus) and related conditions.
At-Home Research Study for Patients With Autoimmune, Inflammatory, Genetic, Hematological, Infectious,...
All Diagnosed Health ConditionsADD/ADHD59 moreWe are the missing link in clinical trials, connecting patients and researchers seamlessly and conveniently using a mobile health platform to advance medical research. We make it easy for patients to contribute to research for medical conditions that matter most to them, regardless of their location or ability to travel.
Diagnosis and Treatment of Patients With Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic FibrosisLiver Disease or Abnormalities2 moreThis is an omnibus protocol for studying patients with cystic fibrosis. The main purpose of the study is to obtain samples and data collected during standard clinical care for future research to expand knowledge of the natural history, clinical manifestations (phenotypes) and the genetic variants (genotypes) of cystic fibrosis.
CirrhosisRx CDS System
CirrhosisDecision Support Systems1 moreThe aim of the study is to compare the effect of CirrhosisRx, a novel clinical decision support (CDS) system for inpatient cirrhosis care, versus "usual care" on adherence to national quality measures and clinical outcomes for hospitalized patients with cirrhosis.
Evaluation of the Medical Benefit of Spa Therapy on Fibrosis After Postoperative Radiotherapy for...
FibrosisBreast CancerFIBROTHERME is a comparative, controlled, randomized, multicenter and simple blinded (investigator) trial. The aim of this study is to evaluate the medical benefit in terms of quality of life on the dermatological sequelae of fibrosis 6 months after a dermatologically oriented spa therapy in patients with severe late reactions affecting the skin and/or soft tissues at least 6 months after the end of postoperative radiotherapy for breast cancer.
DOAC in Patients With Child B Liver Cirrhosis
Liver CirrhosisThe goal of this clinical trial is to investigate pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of direct oral anticoagulant drugs (DOAC), specifically apixaban and edoxaban, in patients with Child B liver cirrhosis (LC). The primary objective of this study is to verify the ability of apixaban and edoxaban to decrease in vivo thrombin generation in LC patients. Participants will be randomly assigned to either apixaban (Eliquis®) or edoxaban (Lixiana®) at a therapeutic dosage for 7 consecutive days. The results of this investigation will contribute to designing a prospective multicentre interventional study to investigate the efficacy of DOAC for primary prevention of portal vein thrombosis in LC patients at high thrombotic risk.
