ColitisUlcerativeThe purpose of this study is to evaluate safety and effectiveness of golimumab in Japanese participants with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis.
Phase III Study of MLN0002 (300 mg) in the Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis
Ulcerative ColitisThe purpose of this study is to evaluate efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics of the vedolizumab (MLN0002) induction and maintenance therapy in Japanese participants with moderate or severe ulcerative colitis (UC).
MEDI7183 Phase 2 Study in Japanese Ulcerative Colitis Patients
Ulcerative ColitisThis is a multi-centre, randomised, double-blind, placebo controlled, parallel group, Phase II study to evaluate efficacy and safety of 3 doses of MEDI7183, in Japanese subjects with moderate to severe UC

ColitisUlcerativeThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the accuracy of a subset of the length-109 probe set panel (a genetic test) in predicting response to golimumab treatment in participants with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis (UC).
Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) for Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis in Children
Ulcerative ColitisPatients diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (UC), a specific type of inflammatory bowel disease, will be invited to take part in this study. The investigators do not know what causes UC. However, the microbes (such as bacteria and viruses), which normally live in our intestines are thought to play an important role in the development of UC. There are many treatment options for UC such as steroids, and other medications that decrease inflammation. However, none of these can cure the disease. This study aims to treat pediatric UC in an alternative fashion by changing the microbes in the gut by giving the participant's stool specimens from healthy adult individuals. There is some evidence from a few cases of adult UC that this therapy may cure the disease or at least provide long lasting suppression (remission) of the symptoms. The investigators would like to test this therapeutic intervention in children with UC. The purpose of this study is to (1) examine the microbiome of stool and colon (2) and to determine whether healthy-donated stool enemas can treat pediatric ulcerative colitis. (3) The investigators will also study the effects of the treatment on colonic gene expression.
Evaluation of Efficacy and Safety of Tralokinumab in Patients With Active, Moderate-to-severe Ulcerative...
Ulcerative ColitisThe study is designed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of tralokinumab as compared to placebo. Investigational product will be administered as subcutaneous injection. All patients will continue background therapy for ulcerative colitis as per local standards of care in addition to investigational product.
Adalimumab in the Treatment of Chronic Pouchitis
Ulcerative ColitisPouchitisThis study wants to investigate the efficiency of biological treatment for chronic pouchitis. Chronic pouchitis is inflammation in a reconstruction after removal of the colon, a pouch. It is examined in patients with ulcerative colitis. The primary objective evaluation is to evaluate the clinically effect of biological therapy (adalimumab) in patients with chronic pouchitis. Secondary objective is to evaluate the effect of biological therapy on the endoscopical and histological inflammatory activity. It is a double-blinded randomized placebo controlled study.
Randomized Placebo-Controlled Trial of Budesonide Multi-Matrix System (MMX®) 9 Milligrams (mg) in...
Ulcerative ColitisThis study is to compare the efficacy and safety of budesonide MMX 9 mg versus placebo as add-on therapy to an existing oral 5-ASA regimen for the induction of remission in participants with active mild or moderate ulcerative colitis (UC).
