This is an open-label Phase 2 study which will evaluate the efficacy and safety of belzutifan in combination with cabozantinib in participants with advanced ccRCC. Belzutifan and cabozantinib will be administered orally once daily.

High Dose IL 2 and Entinostat in RCC

Renal Cell Carcinoma

This is a multicenter, randomized, open label study of high dose interleukin 2 vs high dose interleukin 2 plus entinostat in clear cell RCC patients who are candidate for high dose interleukin 2. Patients will be randomized to ARM 1 (high dose interleukin 2 plus entinostat) or ARM 2 (high dose interleukin 2). Subjects will receive up to 3 courses of high dose interleukin 600,000 units/kg administered IV every 8 hrs on Days 1-5 and Days 15-19 (maximum 28 doses) +/- entinostat 5 mg orally given every 2 weeks starting on Day-14, continuously. Tumor response assessment will be performed between HD IL-2 courses.

This trial is a phase 1/1b study to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and tolerability of APX005M in combination with nivolumab and cabiralizumab. The phase 1 dose escalation portion of the study will enroll patients with advanced solid tumors melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and renal cell carcinoma (RCC) in 6 cohorts to determine the recommended phase II dose (RP2D) of APX005M. The phase 1b dose expansion portion will study the triple drug combination separately in the three disease cohorts: melanoma, NSCLC, and RCC.

SLM + Axitinib for Clear Cell RCC

Advanced Metastatic Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (CCRCC)

This is a Phase I/II trial for safety and preliminary efficacy of the combination of axitinib and selenomethionine (SLM) for adult patients with advanced metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC). This will be a two part study consisting of a dose escalation and expansion study. In addition, a pilot group of 10 subjects will have SLM dose calculated based on patients' body surface area (BSA) to characterize the dose-concentration relationship and estimate the effective administered dose of selenium necessary to achieve the target blood concentration range informed by preclinical data.

For the 2-drug sequence, participants will receive 1 of these drugs and may start taking another of these drugs after that. Researchers will also study the safety of these 2-drug sequences.

This phase I trial studies the side effects and the best dose of Akt inhibitor MK2206 together with hydroxychloroquine in treating patients with advanced solid tumors, melanoma, prostate or kidney cancer. Akt inhibitor MK2206 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as hydroxychloroquine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving Akt inhibitor MK2206 together with hydroxychloroquine may kill more tumor cells than giving either drug alone.

Vaccination of Patients With Renal Cell Cancer With Dendritic Cell Tumor Fusions and GM-CSF

Renal Cancer

The main purpose of this study is to test the safety of the dendritic cell/tumor fusion study vaccine in combination with a laboratory-made agent called Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF). Another purpose is to determine the type and severity of any side effects associated with this study vaccine. GM-CSF is similar to a substance in the body that stimulates the production of white blood cells. To create the study vaccine, cells will be removed from the participants tumor and fused with dendritic cells which are obtained from the participants blood. Dendritic cells are responsible for immune responses to "foreign" substances that enter the body. Animal studies have shown that these fused cells can stimulate powerful anti-tumor responses.
