The Influence of Anatomic Deformities on the Clinical Efficacy in the Patients With Patellar Dislocation...

Patellar DislocationAnatomic Abnormality4 more

All the data of patients with patellar dislocation will be collected to evaluate the anatomic deformities. The data includes X-ray, CT, MRI examinations, medical records, and physical examination information. Finally, we correlate the anatomic deformities with clinical efficacy. To search for the risk factors that lead to patellar dislocation and influence the therapeutic effect.

Diagnosis and Management of Intrauterine Growth Restriction and Congenital Anomalies

Intrauterine Growth RestrictionFetal Anomaly2 more

The purpose of this prospective cohort study is to build a large platform that includes clinical information (prenatal diagnosis and postnatal follow-up data) and biological specimen banks of fetuses/infants with IUGR or congenital anomalies, which provide vital support and research foundation for accurate diagnosis, precision treatment and meticulous management.

European Prospective Registry on Anomalous Aortic Origin of the Coronary Arteries

Congenital Heart DiseaseCoronary Artery Anomaly8 more

Anomalous aortic origin of a coronary artery (AAOCA) is a group of rare congenital heart defects with various clinical presentations. The lifetime-risk of an individual living with AAOCA is unknown, and data from multicentre registries are urgently needed to adapt current recommendations and guide optimal patient management. The European Registry for AAOCA (EURO-AAOCA) aims to assess differences with regard to AAOCA management between centres.

Patient Reported Outcomes for Vascular Malformations EmbolizatioN (PROVEN)

Vascular MalformationsVM - Vascular Malformation

The purpose of this study is to develop a standardized assessment for patients treated for venous malformations (VM). Venous malformations result from the abnormal development of veins which may result in pain, swelling, bleeding, functional impairment, disfigurement, and psychological distress. The impact of VM on patient quality of life varies based on the location and size of the malformation. A patient reported outcome (PRO) is a patient's own account of patient's health condition. PRO measures are valued to clinicians, as many treatment effects are known only to the patient. No studies to date have analyzed the validity of existing PRO measures for VM patients. Current assessment does not include all symptoms or take in to account the relevance of VM location. Past studies show a discrepancy between treatment outcomes reported by patients and physicians. Therefore, there is a need to develop VM-specific PROs to better understand the effectiveness and benefits of treatment for VM.

The Effect of Blood Flow Restriction Method in Patellar Instability

Patellar Abnormality

The blood flow restriction method, the effects of which have been frequently investigated in the literature in recent years, can produce muscle hypertrophy with low-intensity load and can be easily tolerated through to low mechanical stress, seems to be an exercise approach that can be used in the recovery of strength in cases with minor patellar instability and can contribute to the recovery of functional capacity without delay.

Observational Study on JuniOrtho Plating System for Deformities and Fractures Treatment in Lower...

DeformityDefect2 more

Orthofix Srl put the JPS on the European market (2019) by the mean of a pre-market clinical evaluation made under the Medical Device Directive (MDD) requirements that were based on the analysis of the scientific literature of equivalent devices. This study has been planned as part of the Orthofix Srl post-market active surveillance plan for the collection of data on both the clinical performance and the safety profile of the JPS in a representative population of Patients and users. The rationale of the proposed study is to update and support the pre-market clinical evaluation of the JPS with real-word-evidence clinical data, in order to confirm the benefit/risk ratio of this medical device and to keep the CE mark under Medical Device Regulation (MDR) requirements.
