Study of Picibanil (OK432) Sclerotherapy in Children With Macrocystic Lymphatic Malformations
Lymphatic MalformationsOBJECTIVES: I. Determine the efficacy of picibanil sclerotherapy in children with macrocystic lymphangioma.
Infant Heart Surgery: Central Nervous System Sequelae of Circulatory Arrest
Cardiovascular DiseasesCerebral Anoxia7 moreTo compare the influence of two surgical anesthetic techniques, hypothermia with circulatory arrest or hypothermia with low-flow bypass perfusion, on neurologic functioning in infants undergoing heart surgery.
Kinesiotaping Applied to the Thumb in Rheumatoid Hand
Rheumatoid ArthritisKinesiotape1 moreObjective: It was aimed to evaluate the acute effect of Kinesiotape taping on pain, function, range of motion and grip strength parameters in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and hand involvement. Material and Methods: A total of 34 patients, 27 women and 7 men, diagnosed with RA according to the American Rheumatism Association (ACR) criteria were included in our study. All patients were divided into two groups as Kinesiotape and Control groups, each consisting of 17 patients. Subjective pain intensity was evaluated with the Visual Analog Scale, range of motion was evaluated with a goniometer, functional evaluation was evaluated with the Grip Skill Test, hand grip strength was evaluated with a dynamometer, and finger grip strength was evaluated with a pinchmeter. Evaluation parameters were evaluated before and 1 hour after the application, and the acute effect was examined. The patients in the kinesiotape group were taped with the mechanical correction method and the patients in the Control group were taped with tensionless gluing of the I tape. Applications were made on both dominant and nondominant hands.
Muscle Energy Technique Versus Myofacial Release in Adolescents With Spinal Deformity
Idiopathic Spinal DeformitiesSpinal deformity may not only alter the physical appearance, but may also have a psychological impact on the child, particularly in the adolescent to whom self- image is so important. This study will investigate the effect of muscle energy technique compared to myofacial release in the adolescent with spinal deformities( scoliosis and/ or kyphosis).
Integrated Management of Pronation Deformity in Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral PalsyPronation deformity is a very common problem in children with cerebral palsy. This deformity is usually has neural and non-neural aspects. In this clinical trial the aim is to show the importance of combine treatment approach with pharmacological and non-pharmacological modalities. .
Safety and Performance of a Vascular Patch in Pediatric Patients Undergoing Bidirectional Cava-pulmonary...
Heart DefectsCongenitalXeltis developed biodegradable patch prosthesis, the Vascular Patch Model COR-VP-001, to be used as a vascular patch to augment the pulmonary trunk and pulmonary arteries. The prosthesis is immediately mechanically functional, while its physiochemical characteristics should enable cell infiltration and tissue formation. The Xeltis Vascular Graft Model COR-VP-001 is specifically designed to improve surgical outcomes by reducing synthetic material related complications and improving hemodynamic characteristics.
