Chronic constipation is one of the risk factors of inadequate bowel preparation, which could influence the effect of colonoscopy. The risk factors associated with inadequate bowel preparation in constipated patients remains unclear. Here the investigators investigated the high risk factors which might have influence on bowel preparation quality in a prospective cohort of patients with functional constipation.

This study was performed to evaluate posture, sleep, physical activity and quality of life in individuals with chronic constipation Cerebral Palsy.

Randomised controlled trial comparing standard outpatient clinic treatment with multi-disciplinary clinic treatment for functional gastrointestinal disorders. Patients will be followed up to end of clinic treatment and 12 months beyond the end of treatment. Symptoms, quality of life, costs to the healthcare system and psychological outcomes will be assessed.

The incidence risk of colorectal cancer （CRC） is increasing at 4.2% year by year in China. Most effective way to reduce the death rate of CRC patients is to diagnose in quite an early stage. QiaoKou District is a chemical industry Zone of Wuhan with a long history, which has few data of CRC epidemiology. The investigators design the primary CRC screening for this district by healthy questionnaire, Fecal Occult Blood Test(FOBT) and colonoscopy. HanYang Areo has been chosen as Control for its non-industry environment.The crowd would be screen biennially. The high risk group would be intervened, such as resection of polyps or other specific treatment. A follow-up registration database has been built for analysis the relationship between incidence or death rate to high risk factors, such as age, life environment, lifestyles, base diseases and family history of cancer. This study will provide some epidemiology dates of CRC to the local Government, and assist the governor to built a more effective screening system of CRC.

The purpose of this study is to determine if the quality of life in children and adolescents diagnosed with chronic functional constipation improves after educational activity in focus group composed by these patients' mothers.

This post-authorization observational safety study (PASS) monitors clinically important identified and potential risks within a cohort of patients treated with naloxegol, including the occurrence of bowel perforation, acute myocardial infarction (MI), stroke, cardiovascular (CV)-specific mortality, all-cause mortality, hypertension, opioid withdrawal, abdominal pain, diarrhea, syncope, and change in pain severity. Constipation is a common condition among patients with Guillain-Barré Syndrome. It is believed, that the constipation is caused by autonomic neuropathy. However, the severity of the constipation, and its relation to autonomic function have not previously been studied.

To provide tegaserod to eligible women adult patients who did not have satisfactory improvement of their irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) or chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) symptoms with other available treatment(s) and / or patients who had satisfactory improvement of their symptoms with prior tegaserod treatment for IBS-C or CIC.
