"Hybrid operative rooms" allow to offer selected heart-disease patients truly "tailored" operations. This study wants to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Hybrid Procedures in cardiac patients in three subgroups of patients: Hybrid coronary revascularization strategy (coronary by-pass + PCI); Hybrid valve and coronary disease correction (combination of surgical valve replacement and PCI); Hybrid coronary and carotid artery disease treatment (combination of coronary by-pass and carotid stenting). The investigators hypothesize that morbidity might be reduced by 50% in hybrid procedures group as compared with predicted Society of Thoracic Surgery (STS) score.

Outcomes of Patients With Foraminal Stenosis
Lumbar Foraminal StenosisThe present study was to see the effect of minimally invasive neural foraminotomy for lumbar foraminal stenosis with unilateral radicular pain. Traditionally, fusion was was done for the patients, but recent development enable surgeon to decompress neural foramen without rigid spinal fusion. Although, clinical effect of neural foraminotomy may have limitation in attaining a comparable result to fusion surgery, a cost-effective analysis may reveal a result in a different perspective. In this regard, we designed a prospective cohort study to see the cost-effectiveness of neural foraminotomy compared to fusion surgery.
Carotid Revascularization for Radiation Induced Carotid Artery Stenosis
Radiation-induced Carotid Artery StenosisCervical radiotherapy (RT) has greatly reduced the mortality of patients with malignant head and neck tumors, which, however, causes a higher risk of carotid artery stenosis, namely, radiation-induced carotid artery stenosis (RICS) and results in a significant increased risk of ischemic stroke. The systematic review and meta-analysis conducted by our team showed carotid endarterectomy (CEA) can yield better results for these patients than carotid artery stenting (CAS), which was contrary to most previous clinical guidelines. A large-scale prospective study is needed to verify the results. We will conduct a prospective registry of RICS patients treated with CEA to evaluate both short-term safety and long-term efficacy outcomes in a Chinese population.

Prediction of Long-term Outcome in Aortic Stenosis After Valve Intervention
Aortic StenosisPatients with severe aortic stenosis accepted for transcatheter intervention or open surgery are included before the intervention, and then followed up with clinical visits during the first year after intervention. Imaging with echocardiography and computed tomography (CT) are performed together with additional imaging with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and Positron emissions tomography (PET)-CT in a subgroup of the study population. Blood samples, physical performance and questionnaires with focus on frailty and heart failure are also collected at each visit. A follow up with information of the outcomes after 2-5 years will be performed through national registries.

Acute Traumatic Cervical Central Cord Syndrom InjuryThe studied pathology concerns post traumatic cervical spinal cord contusion on narrow spinal canal. The pathophysiology remains controversial. This pathology does not enjoy consensus support. Many questions remain regarding the surgical care and its delay. The purpose of the study was to demonstrate non-inferiority of early surgical treatment compared to the same surgery performed with a delay among patients identified as having a cervical spinal cord contusion on posttraumatic narrowed cervical canal. In the current state of knowledge and practices, the treatment of post traumatic spinal cord contusions on narrow spinal canal spinal decompression is performed remote diagnosis. The generally accepted delay is 15 days. The surgical technique is a conventional cervical spinal decompression surgery. The type of decompression (anterior or posterior) is dependent on the compression and therefore the clinical radiological analysis. The choice of the technique and the surgical approach are therefore left to the discretion of the surgeon. After completion of the clinical and radiological diagnosis of post-traumatic spinal cord contusion on narrow spinal canal, the patient was hospitalized in intensive care or in the Neurosurgery Service of the University Hospital concerned. After anesthetic consultation determining the feasibility or not of surgery and in the absence of other vital injury or involving life-threatening, early surgery within 48 hours of diagnosis is then considered (according to the assigned group). The surgical technique is a conventional cervical spinal decompression surgery. Way posterior surgery, laminectomy for spinal stenosis significant if greater than or equal to 3 floors will be preferred. In other cases, the type of surgery will be at the discretion of the surgeon and the opinion of the Staff Neurosurgery. The surgical procedure is identical in the two groups. Alone, the delay of the surgery varies : less than 48 hours for the first group and 15 days for the second. During the different monitoring visits (D0 (surgery), D7, M3, Y1 and Y2), the following criteria will be assessed : the quality and quickness of the motor and sensory recovery, the early post-operative evolution and the long and medium term evolution but also disability and functional sequelaes.

Palliative Pancreatic Duct Stenting in Patients With Inoperable Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatic CancerPancreatic Duct StricturePatients with pancreatic cancer often suffer from chronic abdominal pain, weight loss and decreased quality of life. The patients also often need pancreatic enzyme supplements. In this prospective study the aim is to see whether patients undergoing palliative pancreatic duct drainage will experience less chronic abdominal pain and a higher quality of life than patients with the same diagnosis without the procedure. The study also investigates whether the nutritional state of the patients with palliative stents remains better than in the control group.
