Coronary Artery Disease

This is a prospective, multi-center, single-group study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Alveo HP Balloon Dilatation Catheter for balloon dilatation of coronary artery stenosis. Pre-dilation with Alveo balloon dilatation catheter followed by conventional PCI, and follow-up will be carried out. During the trial, the enrollment, treatment and follow-up of the subjects will be recorded, and the safety and efficacy of the investigational device will be evaluated.

STAR and Deferred Stenting Study

Coronary OcclusionCoronary Stenosis1 more

STAR is a minimal-risk pragmatic clinical trial of patients admitted for a CTO-PCI procedure. The overall objective of the STAR Study is to address the current gaps in knowledge regarding use of STAR during CTO-PCI, as a prospective, multi-center study of 150 participants with randomization of timing of staged PCI. Five sites will be selected to participate in STAR from a national network of highly experienced CTO-PCI centers across the United States.

Timing of FFR-guided PCI for Non-IRA in STEMI and MVD (OPTION-STEMI)

Myocardial InfarctionAcute1 more

Patients with STEMI (ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction) with multivessel disease which have PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention)-suitable non-IRA (infarct related artery) will be randomized to immediate complete revascularization group or staged revascularization group by 1:1 fashion. Non-IRA lesion which have equal or more than 70% diameter stenosis by visual estimation will be revascularized without FFR (fractional flow reserve) evaluation. Non-IRA lesion with diameter stenosis 50-70% by visual estimation will be evaluated using FFR device. In case of FFR value more than 0.8, non-IRA lesion wll be deferred without PCI. If FFR value was equal or less than 0.8, non-IRA lesion will be revascularized.

Sirolimus-coated Balloon Versus Drug-eluting Stent in Native Coronary Vessels

Coronary Artery DiseaseCoronary Artery Stenosis

International, multicentric, prospective, investigator-driven, open-label, randomized (1:1) clinical trial to observe and evaluate the efficacy, of Magic Touch Sirolimus Coated Balloon (SCB) compared to one of the gold standard treatment for native vessel disease (everolimus-eluting stent, EES).

Comparison of Vessel-FFR Versus FFR in Intermediate Coronary Stenoses

Coronary Artery DiseaseCoronary Artery Stenoses

This is a prospective, randomized, controlled, multicenter, open-label study designed to assess whether vFFR is non-inferior to FFR in assessment of intermediate coronary stenosis in terms of the occurrence of MACE during 12 months after randomization.

Effects of Mindfulness Based Therapy on Illness and Depression in Cardiac Rehab Phase-i

Coronary Artery Stenosis

A randomize controlled trial will be conducted at Punjab institute of cardiology hospital Lahore, through convenience sampling technique on 48 patients which will be allocated through simple random sampling through sealed opaque enveloped into group A and Group B. Pretreatment values of patients' blood pressure, RR, HR, will be recorded. And patient's perception of illness through Illness Perception Questionnaire (IPQ), PHQ9 for depression assessment and HRQOL for quality of life will be assessed before and after treatment. Group A will be treated with basic Phase-I cardiac rehabilitation. And Group B will be treated with basic Phase-I cardiac rehabilitation along with Mindfulness based therapy. Treatment evaluation will be done after 8 weeks. Data will be analyzed using SPSS software version 25. After assessing normality of data by Shapiro-Wilk test, it will be decided either parametric or non-parametric test will be use within a group or between two groups.

Timing of FFR-guided PCI for Non-IRA in NSTEMI and MVD (OPTION-NSTEMI)

Myocardial InfarctionAcute2 more

Many patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) have multivessel coronary artery disease (MVD), which is associated with poor clinical outcomes. However, there have been few studies regarding revascularization strategy in patients with NSTEMI and MVD. Therefore, we planned to perform prospective, open-label, randomized trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of immediate complete revascularization (percutaneous coronary intervention [PCI] for both infarct-related artery [IRA] and non-IRA during index PCI) compared to staged PCI strategy of non-IRA (PCI for IRA followed by non-IRA PCI after several days). PCI procedure at non-IRA with diameter stenosis between 50 and 69% should be conducted with the aid of fractional flow reserve (FFR), and non-IRA with diameter stenosis ≥ 70% will be revascularized without FFR.
