ABSORB FIRST is a prospective, multi-center registry. The objectives of the study are to: Provide ongoing post-market surveillance for documentation of safety, performance and clinical outcomes of the Absorb BVS (Bioresorbable Vascular Scaffold) System in daily percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) practice per Instructions for Use (IFU, on-label use). To evaluate the safety and performance of 12 mm or shorter Absorb BVS in single or overlapping use (bailout, optimization of long lesion treatment) for the treatment of patients with ischemic heart disease caused by de novo native coronary artery lesion(s) Collect additional information (e.g. acute success) to evaluate handling and implantation of Absorb BVS by physicians under a wide range of commercial use conditions and following routine clinical practice.

Coronary Stenosis

Currently patients with certain cancer usually have routine follow up (Computed Tomography of Thorax, Abdomen and Pelvis) CT TAP scans to see response to treatment or relapse. The study proposal allows the evaluation of the coronary arteries by modifying the current CT TAP technique without significant additional procedures, intravenous contrast or radiation - i.e. an opportunistic Computed Tomography Coronary Angiogram (CTCA) without any penalty. The question is does performing Computed Tomography (CT) of the thorax in such a way confer important additional information about cardiac risk? At the same time the investigators need to ensure that doing scan as per CTCA protocol produces equivalent image quality to evaluate other structures in the chest. A recent small retrospective study has using a similar technique suggests that it may in fact improve image quality due to less cardiac related motion artefact.

Relationship Between Pressure and Flow Velocity on Coronary Physiology

Subjects are patients who are planned to do percutaneous coronary intervention for coronary stenosis in the left circumflex artery without other stenosis in the left ascending artery and the right coronary artery, or a patient with normal coronary artery. Immediately after coronary angiography or percutaneous coronary intervention, the investigators will evaluate for coronary hemodynamics by distribution of wave intensity which is calcurated by coronary pressure and flow velocity with Combowire in each coronary segment. Also, they will assess coronary morphology by View It in each coronary segment.

Contrast Volume Reduction During PCI With the Use of a New Assisting Software Package

The new software package is intended to assist the physician in imaging the coronaries during percutaneous coronary interventions. This study investigates the amount of contrast used during percutaneous coronary interventions with the aid of the new software package. The results of the study will be compared with control group data (before the new software package was installed or after it was removed) to define a possible contrast reduction.

Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of death in the western world. Myocardial infarction pathogenesis usually involves the development of an atherosclerotic plaque and thrombus. Past research has shown a correlation between thrombin generation values and ischemic heart disease, however, to our knowledge no investigation has been done into the correlation of thrombin generation and cardiac catheterization results in ischemic heart disease patients. In the current research the investigator will investigate the correlation of thrombin generation values using calibrated automated thrombogram and cardiac catheterization results in active ischemic heart disease patients.
