Patients over 18 years of age who are admitted to the Intermediate Care Unit of the Clinica del Country and the Clinica la Colina, with symptoms suggestive of severe pneumonia secondary to COVID-19 infection and acute hypoxemic respiratory failure. The primary outcome will be to determine the relationship between body mass index and high-flow cannula therapy success defined as: No need for mechanical ventilation.

The purpose of this study is to describe demographic and clinical characteristics of participants who are hospitalized due to coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), treatment use for COVID-19 and COVID-19 symptoms, and composite outcomes of COVID-19. Background: Asthma is still considered a major chronic respiratory disease that affects a large number in the world. The association between COVID-19 infection and asthma was studied in different ways focusing on hospital admitted patients. This study aimed to evaluate the relation between asthma and COVID-19 infection in adults attending outpatient pulmonary clinic over three successive months from clinical and laboratory point of view. Patients and methods: The current study collected 1309 patients attending the outpatient pulmonary clinic of a Saudi Arabian private Hospital over three successive months from 1st of December 2020 to the end of February 2021. Patients were divided into three groups; Group 1: COVID-19 infected with asthma (312), Group 2: COVID-19 infected with no asthma (286) and Group 3: COVID-19 non-infected with asthma (300).

The AudibleHealth Dx is a diagnostic software as a medical device (Dx SaMD) consisting of an ensemble of software subroutines that interacts with a proprietary database of Signal Data Signatures (SDS), using Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) to analyze forced cough vocalization signal data signatures (FCV-SDS) for diagnostic purposes. This study will evaluate the performance of the AudibleHealth Dx in comparison to a standard of care Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test for the diagnosis of COVID-19. Bidirectional Sanger sequencing will be used to reduce the rate of false negative and false positive results. A secondary purpose of the study will be usability testing of the device for participants and providers.

The executive dysfunctions disrupt children's learning and schooling, as well as their social adaptation, compromising their personal development and therefore, their quality of life.
