Correlation Study of Isotype Switching and Neutralizing Capacity to the COVID-19 Variants Strain...

COVID-19

The level of neutralizing antibody was detected by using the constructed pseudovirus covid-19 variant at baseline , 1 month , 6 months and 12 months after primary vaccination, within 15 days after booster immunization at 12 months . and the ability of IgG subclasses to neutralize and cross immunization of variant strains was analyzed.

Identification of Factors Associated With the Occurrence of Severe Forms of COVID-19 Infection in...

SARS-CoV2 InfectionRare Diseases2 more

Factors associated with severe forms of COVID-19 infection in patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases (IRD) or Autoimmune Diseases (AID) are unknown. This unprecedented situation leads to empirical and potentially erroneous advice and recommendations for care. Identifying factors associated with severity, in the context of this pandemic, which is expected to last many months, and possibly years, is crucial for future patients. The objective of this work is to identify the factors associated with the occurrence of severe forms of COVID-19 infection in patients with IRD or AID, by combining analysis of 2 large databases.

Monitoring of Incidence of Mental Discomfort in Pregnant Women During the Serious COVID-19 Pandemic...

Pregnant Woman

This study is aimed to detect severe fear of delivery and its association with the incidence of obsessive-compulsive disorder and symptoms of depression and anxiety in the population of pregnant women in the third trimester during the serious COVID-19 pandemic situation in Slovakia. Data will be acquired from three departments of gynaecology and obstetrics of University Hospital Bratislava. The majority of pregnancies from the region are managed in this hospital; the total number of deliveries in 2020 achieved 7,835

Serological Response to mRNA and Inactivated COVID-19 Vaccine in Health Care Workers in Hong Kong...

Covid-19 Vaccine

Since the first local case of COVID-19 confirmed on 4 Feb 2020, Hong Kong has already experienced 4 waves of COVID-19 surge, with more than 9000 cases reported. A number of vaccines have been shown to be efficacious against symptomatic and severe infection by inducing neutralizing antibody (NAB) against spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. However, the duration of protection and longevity of antibody response is unknown. Health care workers (HCWs) who are planning to receive COVID-19 vaccine will be recruited. The level of antibody against spike protein by different quantitative assays will also be serially measured .

Rehabilitation Program for the Sequelae of COVID 19 Infection

Covid19

SUBPROJECT 1: Describe the situation of post-Covid patients in terms of muscle (skeletal and respiratory), cognitive, emotional and health-related quality of life in the 1st visit of the multidisciplinary post-covid rehabilitation consultation at the Hospital. Retrospective observational study. The data collected in clinical records during the first visit in the post-covid Rehabilitation consultation will be analysed. SUBPROJECT 2: Evaluate the response to a personalized rehabilitation program in patients with post-covid sequelae in terms of muscle (skeletal and respiratory), and health-related quality of life. Prospective observational study of a single cohort of patients. The data will be collected from successive clinical visits.

Artificial Intelligence - SARS-CoV-2 Risk Evaluation

Covid19

The management of COVID-19 patients in overwhelmed hospital facing the pandemic is a clinical challenge. The improvement of decision making may allow a better allocation of available resources and a better treatment of patients at higher risk. Chest CT has been widely adopted for COVID-19 pneumonia diagnosis. Several experiences documented the capability of Artificial Intelligence to improve and fasten COVID-19 pneumonia detection, mainly using chest X-ray. Aim of the present study was to develop and validate an Artificial Intelligence approach integrating clinical and imaging data (automatically extracted through the adoption of dedicated neural networks) for the creation of a cloud platform capable of performing automatic patients risk stratification. Such an approach could be used for triage of COVID-19 patients in the emergency department, with the aim to improve healthcare personnel decision-making and allocation of resources during health emergencies.

Epidemiological Characteristics of COVID-19 in Patients With MS or NMO

Multiple SclerosisNMO Spectrum Disorder1 more

The purpose of this study is to collect French medical data for patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or NeuroMyelitis Optica (NMO) spectrum disorder who are diagnosed or strongly suspected of being infected with Covid19. The objective of this study is to provide scientific information regarding the possible risk factors in these patients, as a large part of them receive immunomodulatory or immunosuppressive treatments. The main objective of this study is thus to determine the epidemiological (eg, age, form of disease, disability) and pharmacological (related to immunomodulatory or immunosuppressive treatments) factors favoring the occurrence of a severe form of Covid-19 in MS and NMO patients.

Non-contact ECG Sensor System for COVID19

COVID-19

The purpose of this study is two-fold. First we would like to confirm that non-contact ECG provides equivalency to current contact methods of obtaining ECG data. Second we would like to investigate whether non-contact ECG can detect ECG changes prior to the onset symptoms from COVID19.

Predictive Biomarkers of Secondary Aggravation in Covid-19 Suspect Patient

Infection ViralCoronavirus1 more

There is no predictive tool for patients admitted to the emergency department with a suspicion of Covid-19 that will worsen secondarily and require a heavy lifting. In a context of saturation of the healthcare system by the pandemic at Covid-19,it is essential to identify specific, accessible prognostic markers via minimally invasive sampling with low risk of infection for personnel caregiver, for optimal allocation of resuscitation resources. This study proposes to evaluate the biological markers of routine care known to be associated with resuscitation admission in relation to hospitalization on conventional service for the prediction of worsening of patients admitted to the emergencies for Covid-19.
