Vitreous Hyper Reflective Dots in Association With Pseudophakic Cystoid Macular Edema
Cystoid Macular Edema Following Cataract SurgeryVitreous Hyperreflective DotsThe aim of this study is to assess the association between vitreous hyper-reflective dots (VHD) and the macular thickness changes following uneventful phacoemulsification. In this prospective study the investigators performed optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging in patients undergoing cataract surgery preoperatively and postoperatively after 1 week, 1 month and 3 months and analyzed the OCTs for VHDs. The investigators then measured the macular thickness in patients with VHDs and without VHDs and correlated the macular thickness with the number of VHDs.

Macular EdemaRetrospective cases series is a non-randomized, open-label, single-center investigation (Retina Clinic, São Paulo, Brazil) of patients diagnosed with macular edema secondary to diabetic retinopathy (DME) and retinal vein occlusions who underwent to simultaneous treatment with intravitreal injection of bevacizumab 1.25mg and implant of dexamethasone 0.7mg.
"Cataract Surgery in Eyes With Epiretinal Membrane"
Epiretinal MembranePseudophakic Cystoid Macular Edema2 moreThe purpose of the study is to evaluate retinal thickness change and the occurrence of central structural retinal changes after uneventful small-incision cataract surgery in eyes with asymptomatic early stages of epiretinal membrane.
Evaluation of Central Macular Thickness in Femtosecond Laser-assisted Cataract Surgery
Age Related CataractsCystoid Macular EdemaThe investigational device is an approved femtosecond laser (FSL) device with an integrated imaging system to perform certain steps of the cataract procedure. The FSL will perform anterior capsulotomy and lens fragmentation in individuals suffering from age-related cataract with need of cataract surgery. Cataract surgery will be performed in subjects who have signed an informed consent form. Macula thickness will be measured with Spectralis OCT on screening date. Postoperative examinations will be implemented in accordance with the approved investigational plan on subjects and includes: visual acuity, slitlamp examination, retinal oct imaging and quantitative autofluorescence.
Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography and Pseudophakic Cystoid Edema
Pseudophakic Cystoid Macular EdemaThis study evaluates the retinal vascular features in macula and papillary regions in patients affected by pseudophakic cystoid edema using optical coherence tomography angiography
