The Anemia Control Program: Early Intervention
Iron Deficiency AnemiaThe purpose of this study was to determine if a home-based intervention to foster child development improved behavior and development in infants with IDA.
Efficacy and Safety Study of Iron Sucrose and Oral Iron Acetyl-transferrin Hydroglycerin
Iron Deficiency Anemiamulti-center, prospective, randomized, open-labeled, active-drug-controlled, two-parallel-group-comparison(venoferrun group vs Bolgre group)study
Pan-intestinal Capsule Endoscopy Versus Colonoscopy in Iron Deficiency Anemia or Overt GI Bleeding...
Iron Deficiency AnemiaGastroIntestinal BleedingThe authors hypothesize that in patients with iron deficiency anemia or gastrointestinal bleeding, pan-intestinal capsule endoscopy is a safe and well tolerated procedure that may improve diagnostic yield comparatively to the current standard invasive colonoscopy.
IV Iron Sucrose vs Oral FeSO4 in Treating IDA in Pediatric IBD
Iron Deficiency AnemiaInflammatory Bowel DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of intravenous iron sucrose in comparison to oral ferrous sulfate in improving iron deficiency anemia in children with inflammatory bowel disease.
Zinc Supplementation In Very Low Birth Weight Infants-A Randomised Controlled Trial
Preterm InfantEffect of Drugs1 moreZinc (Zn) is a structural component of human body and is a crucial element for a wide variety of cascades that take place in almost all organ systems. Due to many reasons, preterm infants are generally believed to be naturally in a negative Zn balance during the early periods of life. Regulation of intestinal Zn absorption of preterms is unrelated to infant's Zn status. There still is a lack of knowledge in the possible relation of Zn deficiency and development of NEC and/or feeding intolerance in preterm infants. Even if Zn is studied as an adjunct treatment for neonates and young infants with sepsis and found to reduce treatment failure in these high risk population, data in preventing infectious diseases in preterm infants is still lacking.
A Randomized, Double-blind, Comparative Study of Intravenous Iron Isomaltoside 1000 (Monofer®) Against...
Iron Deficiency AnemiaThe primary objective of the study is to evaluate and compare the effect of iron isomaltoside 1000 to placebo in its ability to increase haemoglobin (Hb) in subjects with IDA when oral iron preparations are ineffective or cannot be used.
The Anemia Control Program: High or Low Iron Supplementation
Iron Deficiency AnemiaCognitive Development1 moreThe purpose of this clinical trial was to determine if high-iron or low-iron formula, containing an average of 12.7 mg/L or 2.3 mg/L respectively, had differing effects on iron status in infancy and on development longitudinally.
Effects of 5-Aminolevulinic Acid on Iron Deficiency Anemia
Iron Deficiency AnemiaThis study is designed to evaluate efficacy and dose-dependency of 5-aminolevulinic acid in subjects with iron deficiency anemia.
Lithium and Acetate for Canavan Disease
Canavan DiseaseInfantile4 moreThe aim of this study is to determine whether oral supplementation with lithium and acetate may improve the biological and clinical prognosis in patients with Canavan Disease.
Memory T-cell Infusion to Improve Immunity After TCR-alpha/Beta Depleted Hematopoietic Stem Cell...
Precursor T-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia-LymphomaLeukemia6 moreThe stud will evaluate whether infusions of CD45RA-depleted lymphocytes from the donor early post-transplant is a safe way to improve immunity to common infections in recipients of TCR-alpha/beta depleted hematopoietic stem cell grafts.
