Depressive DisorderMajor1 moreThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of aticaprant compared with placebo as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant in improving depressive symptoms in adult participants with major depressive disorder (MDD) with moderate to severe anhedonia (ANH+) who have had an inadequate response to current antidepressant therapy with a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI).
Effects of Mindfulness Based Therapy on Illness and Depression in Cardiac Rehab Phase-i
Coronary Artery StenosisA randomize controlled trial will be conducted at Punjab institute of cardiology hospital Lahore, through convenience sampling technique on 48 patients which will be allocated through simple random sampling through sealed opaque enveloped into group A and Group B. Pretreatment values of patients' blood pressure, RR, HR, will be recorded. And patient's perception of illness through Illness Perception Questionnaire (IPQ), PHQ9 for depression assessment and HRQOL for quality of life will be assessed before and after treatment. Group A will be treated with basic Phase-I cardiac rehabilitation. And Group B will be treated with basic Phase-I cardiac rehabilitation along with Mindfulness based therapy. Treatment evaluation will be done after 8 weeks. Data will be analyzed using SPSS software version 25. After assessing normality of data by Shapiro-Wilk test, it will be decided either parametric or non-parametric test will be use within a group or between two groups.

We will assess Depression at baseline and 1, 2 and 3 months, ROI at 3 months, Satisfaction at 1 and 3 months and Perceived Access at 1 and 3 months. Fasting-mimicking Diet in Treatment of Depressive Symptoms in IBD
Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesCrohn Disease1 moreInflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic illness characterized by inflammation of the intestine. Many individuals with IBD suffer from depressive symptoms and anxiety which can lead to a decreased quality of life, poor treatment compliance, and higher morbidity and mortality. The object of this clinical trial is to investigate the effects of a fasting mimicking diet in IBD patients who are suffering with symptoms of depression. Participants will carry out 3 cycles of a 5-day period of a plant-based low caloric diet or a plant-based caloric sufficient diet following by 3 weeks of eating normally. Effects of the dietary intervention on microbes in the gut, immune and metabolic function, and depressive symptoms will be measured. The overall goal is to develop a safe and effective treatment to improve mental health in patients with IBD by targeting the gut microbiome through dietary interventions.
Accelerated Theta Burst Stimulation for Suicidal Ideation
Suicidal IdeationTreatment-resistant DepressionThis is a prospective clinical trial to confirm the effectiveness of bilateral accelerated theta burst stimulation (aTBS) on suicidal ideation (SI), while exploring cortical inhibition measures in this treatment paradigm. In this proposed study, the investigators will evaluate the anti-suicidal effects of bilateral aTBS over the DLPFC compared to accelerated intermittent theta burst stimulation (aiTBS) over the left DLPFC in participants with TRD and SI. Additionally, the investigators aim to identify neurophysiological targets through which bilateral aTBS induces remission of SI in TRD differentially from aiTBS.

Postpartum DepressionParenting2 moreThe long-term goal is to develop effective parenting strategies to facilitate optimal child development for mothers suffering with PPD symptoms.
