Psoriasis and atopic dermatitis are multifactorial inflammatory dermatoses, with a very high prevalence, reaching more than 120 million patients in the world. Although the physiopathological mechanisms are not yet clearly defined, these inflammatory dermatoses involve an interaction between the immune system and the epidermal cells, severe skin inflammation and often very intense pruritus. The objectives of an effective management should be to treat lesions in order to reduce them, but also to reduce itching and allow the patients to accept and cope with their pathology, without neglecting an improvement in the "Dermatology Life Quality Index" (DLQI) and in the psychological state, sometimes depressive, of the patient. Itching is defined as "a feeling that needs to be scratched urgently" and can cause significant distress along with pain. It severely impacts the quality of life and the quality of sleep. Chronic itching is associated with increased stress, anxiety, and other mood disorders. In turn, stress and anxiety exacerbate the itching, leading to a vicious cycle of pruritus - scratching that affects patient behavior (excessive scratching) and worsens disease prognosis and quality of life. Much research over the past few decades has demonstrated the effect of mindfulness meditation on emotional and cognitive responsiveness, cognitive flexibility, rumination, self-compassion and mindfulness, but also on acute pain, anxiety, stress, depression, cardiovascular disease, eating disorders, cancer and cognitive loss with age. Several studies have shown the impact of mindfulness on brain function and immunity, with evidence for the association between mindfulness and changes in the levels of markers characteristic of immune system activity and inflammation, known to be increased in psoriasis or atopic dermatitis. Our objective is to evaluate the effect of mental training in the regulation of stress and emotions through mindfulness meditation in patients with moderate, itchy atopic dermatitis or psoriasis, not treated with systemic agents (e.g.: biotherapies). This project is based on the premise that mental training in the regulation of stress and emotions through meditation would reduce the effects of the infernal itch-scratch cycle, alleviating pruritus, thus improving the well-being and mental health of patients while reducing their inflammatory skin lesions and limiting the appearance of new lesions.

For the skin to function optimally, it needs to be nourished and supplied with the necessary compounds to support health. However, many individuals are deficient in those compounds, leading to negative skin outcomes. Most products on the market today only supply one or two compounds that can benefit skin health. Hemptress has developed a multi-function oil designed to help with outcomes related to acne, aging, and eczema, among others. This twelve-week trial will examine the effectiveness of Hemptress' test product. This study will be a two-group trial with 45 participants per group. One group will focus on understanding the test product's effects on skin aging symptoms. The other group will focus on understanding the test product's effects on acne and eczema. The trial will be hybrid, and the participants will follow the use instructions provided by the research team.

Primary objective: To characterize the use patterns of phototherapy and immunosuppressants prior to dupilumab treatment for adult AD patients, who are eligible for dupilumab reimbursement in Taiwan (e.g., used regimens, reason for initiation of new treatments, concomitant therapies, treatment durations and reasons for discontinuation and/or switching). Secondary objectives: To characterize the adult AD patients, who are eligible for dupilumab reimbursement in Taiwan, with respect to their a) medical history, b) socio-demographic, c) disease characteristics, d) comorbid with type 2 diseases [e.g., Asthma, Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyp (CRSwNP)], and e) prior and concomitant treatments of atopic dermatitis To assess the effectiveness and safety of dupilumab in adult atopic dermatitis patients, who are eligible for dupilumab reimbursement in Taiwan To assess comorbid atopic conditions and effects of dupilumab treatment for comorbid atopic conditions in adult patients, who are eligible for dupilumab reimbursement in Taiwan To evaluate the correlation of patient reported outcome [Atopic Dermatitis Control Tool (ADCT)] and physician assessment [Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI)] from the recruited subjects

Clinical data suggest that treatment with OM-85, by inducing an early contact with bacterial extracts, could modulate the immunity of children with Atopic Dermatitis, and thus play an active role in the treatment of Atopic Dermatitis. The present trial will investigate the influence of administration of OM-85 in the paediatric population younger than 24 months with moderate atopic dermatitis. The efficacy and safety of OM-85 will be evaluated in children aged 3 to 24 months old with moderate Atopic Dermatitis who may benefit from treatment with OM-85. The placebo treatment period will serve as a reference and has been added to establish efficacy and safety.

Patients with atopic dermatitis and eczema often struggle with habitual scratching that is not well-controlled even with optimal medical therapy. Our goal is to create a behavioral intervention to help children with eczema reduce scratching. The investigators hope that the intervention will improve clinical outcomes and quality of life, as well as provide an easily implemented way for clinicians to educate patients and parents about behavioral modification techniques.

This study is designed to evaluate and compare the efficacy of 3% oregano extract ointment prepared in aqueous solution versus 1% hydrocortisone ointment, a standard treatment, in decreasing the inflammation associated with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis. We plan to recruit 40 patients on the ages comprised between 2 and 17 years old and the study duration for each of the patient is 1 month.

The trial is designed to compare the efficacy and safety of Fucicort® Lipid cream with the combination treatment of Fucidin® cream followed by betamethasone (Lianbang Beisong®) cream, or Fucicort® Lipid cream vehicle, when applied twice daily for two weeks. The trial is designed to demonstrate that treatment with Fucicort® Lipid cream is not inferior to the combination treatment with the mono component drugs, Fucidin® cream followed by betamethasone (Lianbang Beisong®) cream and that treatment with Fucicort® Lipid cream is superior to the treatment with Fucicort® Lipid cream vehicle. This is a 3-arm, parallel group, active- and vehicle-controlled trial comparing the efficacy and safety after 14 days treatment of Fucicort® Lipid cream, to Fucidin® cream followed by betamethasone (Lianbang Beisong®) cream, or Fucicort® Lipid cream vehicle, in subjects with clinically infected AD/eczema.

This is an observational cohort study of 221 breast-feeding mother-infant dyads delivered at term. The goal of the study is to investigate whether levels of immune-related microRNAs (miRNAs) in maternal breast milk (MBM) influence child atopy risk in the first 12 months, defined as atopic dermatitis, wheezing, or food allergy. Infant exposure to individual miRNA components will be quantified at 0, 4, and 16-weeks after delivery using high throughput RNA sequencing of MBM samples and detailed dietary logs employing the Infant Feeding Practices (IFP) survey. The relationship of individual miRNA exposures (parts per million) and presence/absence of atopy in the 48 weeks after delivery will be assessed, while controlling for environmental exposures (National Survey of Lead hazards and Allergens in Housing), maternal diet, and genetic predisposition. Potential transfer of MBM miRNAs to the infant oropharynx and subsequent impact on immune reactivity will also be explored through RNA sequencing of infant saliva and quantification of cytokine profiles.

This is a randomized open label study to evaluate the long term safety of ASN002 in subjects with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD).
