DiabetesType 2 Diabetes Mellitus

This trial is conducted in Europe. The aim of the trial is to investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (the exposure of the trial drug in the body) and pharmacodynamics (the effect of the investigated drug on the body) of subcutaneously administered NNC0148-0287 (insulin 287) in subjects with type 2 diabetes

A Trial Comparing the Safety and Efficacy of Semaglutide Once Weekly in Monotherapy or in Combination...

DiabetesDiabetes Mellitus1 more

This trial is conducted in Asia. The aim of the trial is to investigate safety and efficacy of semaglutide once weekly in monotherapy or in combination with one OAD (oral anti-diabetic drug) in Japanese subjects with type 2 diabetes who are insufficiently controlled on diet/exercise therapy or OAD monotherapy. All subjects will continue their pre-trial treatment (diet and exercise therapy or OAD monotherapy in addition to diet and exercise therapy) during the trial.

Anti-Inflammatory Small Drug Adjunctive Therapy for Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 Diabetes MellitusInsulin Resistance

The role of individual leukocyte populations in type 2 diabetes (T2D) and immunometabolism in general represent important gaps in knowledge to better understand the etiopathogenesis of T2D. Emerging evidence indicates that certain leukocyte populations serve as an important nexus of T2D-associated inflammation. This novel and innovative clinical trial will test the efficacy of a leukocyte-selective anti-inflammatory small drug as adjunctive therapy in improving insulin sensitivity in obese, insulin-resistant type 2 diabetic subjects. This trial also offers a first-in-kind opportunity to better understand the role of specific leukocyte populations in type 2 diabetes. The drug's clinical profile suggests that it will be well-tolerated with few, if any, side effects, and the existence of simple methods that can indirectly measure its activity in vivo

Effects of Personalized Dietary Advice on Health Status of Diabetes Type 2 Patients

Diabetes MellitusType 2

This study addresses the challenge of increasing compliance with dietary recommendations and guidelines among diabetes type 2 patients by introducing professional dietary advice based on individual requirements. The objective of this study is to assess the effect of the Personalized Dietary Advice Services (PDAS) after a three month intervention on established markers of nutritional and health status in diabetes type 2 patients (HbA1c, glucose, insulin). Besides, the effect of the PDAS on perceived health status of diabetes type 2 patients will be assessed.

Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes With Long Acting Basal Insulin in Jordan

Diabetes MellitusType 2

Primary Objective: -To assess the change in glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in uncontrolled Type 2 diabetes patients on OAD agent in Jordan after 6 months of treatment with basal insulin (Insulin glargine). Secondary Objectives: To evaluate the percentage of patients achieving target of HbA1c ˂7%. To evaluate the change in fasting plasma glucose (FPG). To assess the following safety criteria: hypoglycemic events, body weight changes, and overall safety. Describe the titration process: changes in glargine insulin dose at 3 months and 6 months, changes in the titration doses used (if any), and time to reach control.
