Computer Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy Compared to Clinical Examination
Diabetic RetinopathyThe hypothesis is that computer detection of the severity of diabetic retinopathy including the presence of clinically significant macular edema is not inferior to the detection using a dilated eye examination by a Board-certified ophthalmologist.

Dual Wavelength OCT
AMDDiabetic Retinopathy2 moreThe purpose of this research is the evaluation of a combined coaxial optical coherence tomography (OCT) system to image retina/choroid and to evaluate if post processing of the data can give us insights into property of the tissue imaged.

Comparing 3 Imaging Systems
Diabetic RetinopathyThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality of ocular images captured on 3 different cameras of patients with diabetic retinopathy. The study will determine whether diabetic retinopathy assessment is comparable between the cameras. The research is being done to see if a camera takes higher quality pictures over the other cameras. 60 participants will be enrolled into this study. Participants need to have diabetic eye disease. This is a one-time study visit that lasts approximately 1 hour.

A Single-center, Retrospective Study to Evaluate the Clinical Performance of Artificial Intelligence...
Diabetic RetinopathyThis study is to evaluate the clinical performance of VeriSee DR for DR screening from color fundus photography images in patients with diabetes mellitus. The sensitivity and specificity of VeriSee DR's automated image analysis for screening the diabetes retinopathy will be determined.

Observational Study to Assess Genotypes/Phenotypes Correlations in Type-2 Diabetic Retinopathy
Type-2 Diabetic RetinopathyThe purpose of this study is to characterize type 2 diabetic patients with initial alterations of diabetic retinopathy (DR) based on 3 different phenotypes previously identified and different patterns of progression in order to correlate this data with genetic information.

Vitrous Analysis in Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy
Proliferative Diabetic RetinopathyAnalysis of vitreous proteins in patients undergoing pars plana vitrectomy for proliferative diabetic retinopathy

Phenotypes of Nonproliferative Diabetic Retinopathy in DM 2 Patients Identified by OCT, CFP, RLA...
Type-2 DiabetesDiabetic RetinopathyTo characterise phenotypes of Non Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (NPDR) progression using multimodal testing/imaging procedures.

Diabetic Macular Edema Severity at Diagnosis
Diabetes MellitusDiabetic Retinopathy1 moreThe purpose of this study is to identify the severity level distribution at the moment of diagnosis, in diabetic patients with macular edema from a Mexico City sample, and to identify the rate with severe macular edema that needed immediate treatment.

Tracking Optical Coherence Tomography
Macular DegenerationGlaucoma2 moreThe purpose of this research study is to evaluate an investigational system that may allow doctors to show images of the different parts inside the eye that show greater detail than current equipment can produce.

Diabetic Retinopathy Functional Evaluation Study: Monitoring Carotenoid Vitamins Treatment Using...
DiabetesDiabetic RetinopathyTo evaluate the differences in retinal function as measured by ERG in diabetics with and without retinopathy 2) the ability of the Chromatic Electroretinogram (chERG) to detect changes in global retinal function following treatment with Carotenoid Vitamins supplement in patients with diabetic retinopathy (DR). 3) the ability of the Full Field flicker (ffERG) to detect changes in global retinal function following treatment with Carotenoid Vitamins supplement in patients with diabetic retinopathy (DR). 4) Changes in retinal function as observed by OCT-Angiography, following treatment with Carotenoid Vitamins supplement in patients with diabetic retinopathy (DR).
