Post Authorisation Safety Study of Triaxis as a 5th Dose in 4-6 Year Old Spanish Children
DiphtheriaTetanus and PertussisPrimary objective: This is a descriptive study and the primary objective is to determine the incidence of injection site and systemic adverse events after Triaxis administration as a 5th dose of tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis vaccine in 4-6 year old children
Heterologous Effect of Diptheria, Tetanus, Acellular Pertussis Vaccination on Influenza Challenge...
Heterologous Effects of VaccinesVaccines can have non-targeted or heterologous (also called non-specific) immunological effects on the immune system i.e. effects other than inducing an immune response against the disease targeted by the vaccine. This trial aims to evaluate the non-specific immunological effects of two vaccines - diphtheria-tetanus-acellular pertussis (DTP) vaccine and seasonal influenza vaccine - in a cohort of elderly humans (>65 years of age) and healthy adult control subjects (30-50 years).
An Immunogenicity and Safety Study of Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Booster...
TetanusDiphtheria1 moreOpen-label, randomized, multi-centre study in which 400 subjects, divided into two groups, will receive Td5ap or Td1aP as a single injection. We will then describe the immune response and safety profile of the combined vaccine booster.
Duration of Protection: GSK DTaP Vaccines
DiphtheriaAcellular Pertussis1 moreThe purpose of this study is to assess duration of protection for GSK DTaP vaccines in preventing pertussis.
Study to Analyze the Risk Factors Associated With Pertussis/Whooping Cough Infection Among Infants...
DiphtheriaAcellular Pertussis1 moreThis study aims to estimate the risk factors associated with pertussis/whopping cough infection among infants less than one year of age in a United States (U.S.) commercially insured population. The study will utilize a large research data base associated with a geographically diverse U.S. health plan not limited by one geographic area or disease outbreak to evaluate pertussis in infants between 2005 and 2010. Healthcare costs and utilization among infants with a reported diagnosis of pertussis/whooping cough stratified by the number of DTaP vaccinations received prior to infection will also be reported.
Impact of Boostrix™ Maternal Vaccination on Morbidity and Mortality of Pertussis Disease in Infants...
DiphtheriaAcellular Pertussis1 moreThis study is being conducted to assess impact of maternal immunisation against pertussis in infants ≤12 months of age before and after introduction of pertussis maternal immunisation in Bogota, Colombia from January 2005-December 2014.
Post-marketing Safety Study of GSK Biologicals' Boostrix® Vaccine
DiphtheriaTetanus1 morePre-licensure studies of GSK Biologicals' Boostrix® have shown it to be generally safe and well-tolerated. This post-licensure study is designed to evaluate relatively uncommon/rare outcomes in a large population cohort. The Protocol Posting has been updated in order to comply with the FDA Amendment Act, Sep 2007.
Pilot Study Freeze and Transport Immune Cells
DiphtheriaHepatitis B3 moreTo evaluate and standardize umbilical cord specimen collection and laboratory procedures to evaluate cellular and serological immune responses in neonates and young infants
Cutaneous Diphtheria in France : Observational, Retrospective Study of Patient Characteristics
Corynebacterium Diphtheriae InfectionToxigenic cutaneous diphtheria is a notifiable disease that is re-emerging in the world and particularly in France. A better description of the epidemiological characteristics, as well as a refinement of the clinical characteristics of patients with cutaneous diphtheria, are essential to better understand this pathology, which has important public health issues and whose diagnosis absence can have catastrophic consequences for the patient and their contacts. Microbiological data (species identification, toxigenicity or not, resistance profile...) will be transmitted by the national reference center for corynebacteria of the diphtheriae complex and then caregivers who have managed the corresponding patients with cutaneous diphtheria will be contacted.
Antibody Persistence in Healthy Children After Primary and Booster DTaP-IPV-Hep B-PRP-T Vaccine...
DiphtheriaTetanus3 moreThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the long term immunogenicity produced in children by the investigational hexavalent vaccine (DTaP-IPV-Hep B-PRP-T) given in Study A3L15 (NCT 00362336). Primary Objective: To describe the antibody long term persistence at 3.5 and 4.5 years of age following a 3 dose primary series vaccination of either DTaP-IPV-Hep B-PRP-T or CombAct-Hib™ + Oral poliovirus vaccine (OPV) + Engerix™ B vaccination at 6, 10 and 14 weeks of age and a booster vaccination of DTaP-IPV-Hep B-PRP-T or CombAct-Hib™ + OPV at 15-18 months
