The Effect of a Lumbar Rotational Spinal Mobilization Technique With Lumbar Disc Herniation
Lumbar Disc HerniationThe aim of this study was to research the effect of the Lumbar Spinal Rotational Mobilization technique on radiological findings, pain, disability and joint range of motion (ROM) in patients with lumbar disc herniation
Clinical Trial to Evaluate Safety and Efficacy of Hyalospine® in Lumbar Laminectomy or Laminotomy...
Degenerative Spinal StenosisDisk HerniationThe aim of this Phase II trial is to evaluate safety and efficacy of Hyalospine in patients undergoing lumbar laminectomy or laminotomy for degenerative spinal stenosis or disk herniation. The device is used as an adjunct in lumbar spine surgery to prevent post- surgical fibrosis and adhesions, and improve patient outcomes.
Safety and Effectiveness Study of the AO-1000 Device to Treat Contained Herniated Discs
DiskHerniatedTo evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the AO-1000 device to treat and relieve the pain of symptomatic subjects with contained herniated discs. This single-arm pilot study will be used as a go vs. no-go decision on performing a randomized-controlled trial. The study's primary effectiveness objective is to demonstrate that the patient's functionality (based on Oswestry Disability Index scores) has improved from baseline at one month. The study's primary safety objective is to demonstrate that serious device/procedure related adverse events and subsequent surgical interventions are no greater than those in a literature control of other percutaneous disc decompression procedures at discharge, 1 month, 6 months, and 12 months post-treatment. Secondary objectives are to demonstrate procedural success and improvement in the pain and function of the subjects at 1, 6, and 12 months using the VAS and ODI scales as well as tracking analgesic medication use. Pain and function scores for each follow-up time will be compared to the baseline scores.
PRESTIGE® Cervical Disc Study
Degenerative Cervical Disc DiseaseThe purpose of this clinical investigation is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the ACD in the single level surgical treatment of patients with symptomatic cervical degenerative disc disease. The primary follow-up information obtained from this clinical investigation are used to support a PMA application for the ACD.
Efficacy of Pregabalin in Patients With Radicular Pain
Neuropathy; RadicularLumbar4 moreThe purpose of this study is to evaluate whether pregabalin is effective in reducing the pain in patients who present with radicular pain due to a herniated disc, spinal stenosis or failed back surgery syndrome.
Remission of Lumbar Disc Herniation by Physiotherapy
Lumbar Disc HerniationThis study was conducted with the aim of determining whether or not Non surgical spinal decompression therapy was effective in remission of herniation, decreasing pain and improving functional status.
The Efficacy and Safety of the 1,414 nm Nd:YAG Laser System for Alleviating Back Pain in a Lumbar...
Lumbar Herniated Intervertebral DiscThis study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the 1,414nm Nd:YAG laser system (ACCUPLASTI) added to Percutaneous Epidural Neuroplasty (PEN), a conventional treatment, to alleviate back pain in a lumbar herniated intervertebral disc patient.
Wallis Interspinous Dynamic Stability System for Lumbar Disc Herniation: a Prospective Study
Lumbar Disc HerniationLumbar disc herniation is usually treated by discectomy alone. Nonfusion system such as Wallis interspinous implants have also been successfully used in disc degenerative diseases. However, the superiority of a discectomy with Wallis in comparison to a discectomy alone for primary lumbar disc herniation has yet to be determined. The aim of our study is to investigate whether lumbar discectomy combined with the Wallis device provides better radiographic and clinical short-term outcome than posterior lumbar discectomy alone.
A Study to Evaluate Safety and Exploratory Efficacy of KTP-001 in Subjects With Lumbar Disc Herniation...
Lumbar Disc HerniationThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and exploratory efficacy of KTP-001 in subjects with lumbar disc herniation.
Evaluation of Outcomes of Discectomy With Dynesys in Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation
Orthopedic Disorder of SpineTo explore the clinical outcomes of discectomy with dynamic neutralization system(Dynesys) on treatment of single-segmental lumbar disc herniation(LDH) versus simple discectomy.
