This study evaluates the effectiveness of levocarnitine in the treatment of dry eye in adults with Sjogren's syndrome. This will be a crossover study design with all participants receiving both levocarnitine and placebo.

Dry eye disease (DED) is pervasive with some reports estimating over 16 million adults diagnosed in the United States. Currently, artificial tears remain an integral part of managing dry eyes and are mainly used for symptomatic relief. Recent studies have shown there may be therapeutic benefits with regular use of lipid-based artificial tears to improve the structure of the tear film, which may improve tear film stability and provide relief of symptoms. In this study the investigators propose to compare effects on the tear lipid film and its dynamics between 3 lipid based artificial tears and a widely available non-lipid based artificial tear.

This study is a prospective, multicentre, parallel-group, active-controlled, non-inferiority study conducted in adult patients with moderate-to-severe dry eye disease (DED) related to keratitis or keratoconjunctivitis. This study is to be conducted in France, Poland and Spain. The patients will be randomised to receive Cationorm Pro® or the reference treatment, VISMED® (ratio 1:1) in an investigator-masked fashion

The objective of this study is to compare the safety and efficacy of 0.25% HBM9036 (HL036) Ophthalmic Solution to placebo for the treatment of the Chinese subjects with moderate and severe dry eye.

HydroEye® is a dietary supplement that contains both EPA and DHA, as well as GLA and ALA in the form of black currant seed oil. It also has vitamins A, E, C, B6, and magnesium, many of which are involved in fatty acid metabolism. In 2013, Sheppard et al. tested HydroEye® in dry eye patients who were not contact lens wearers and found that symptoms and corneal smoothness improved in response to HydroEye® supplementation. To date, HydroEye® has not been assessed in patients with contact lens discomfort; therefore, the purpose of this clinical trial is to determine the efficacy of HydroEye® as a treatment for contact lens discomfort.

This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of 3% Diquafosol Ophthalmic Solution for visual display terminal (VDT)-associated dry eye and to investigate the mechanism of treatment.

Phase IV, non inferiority, controlled, open, multicenter clinical study to compare the efficacy of the Ophthalmic Solution Humylub Ofteno® PF against Hyabak® and Lagricel Ofteno® PF applied quater in die (QID) for 30 days in patients with mild to moderate dry eye disease.

This is a single center, randomized, single-blind, controlled pilot study of CJDHW plus JWXYS as a complementary therapy to treat dry eye disease during a 12-week period. The investigators intend to enroll 60 subjects aged between 20 and 75 years old (treatment group(N=30); controlled group(N=30)). Treatment group will be treated with artificial tears combined with TCM, while control group will use artificial tears only. The aim of this study is to explore the efficacy of TCM for dry eye disease.

The purpose of the study is to compare the efficacy and safety of 5% tavilermide ophthalmic solution to placebo for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease.

Computer vision syndrome characterized as a complex of eye and vision problem related with activities which increase stress for close to vision. It includes a group of visual symptoms which occur from the extended viewing of the digital screen, when the demands of the task exceed the abilities of the viewer. Computer vision syndrome is an umbrella term that envelops many eye and environment-related problem that happen when the viewing need of the task increase the visual capability of the computer user which cause inefficacy to focus appropriately on computer images. Computer vision syndrome is also known as Digital Eye Strain.
