Combination of Standard Lucentis Therapy With Micropulse Diode Laser for the Treatment of Diabetic...
Diabetic Macular EdemaThe primary objective of this study is to evaluate if a combination therapy with micropulse diode laser treatment shows non inferiority on visual acuity within 12 months in comparison to standard therapy (intravitreal injection of ranibizumab only).
OCT Screening for Diabetic Macular Edema at Primary Diabetes Care Visits
DiabetesDiabetic Macular Edema1 moreThe purpose of this protocol is to determine whether point of care optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging combined with an OCT-guided retinal referral algorithm at primary diabetes care visits increases rates of retina specialist eye care for patients with diabetic macular edema. The hypothesis is that OCT imaging with an automated OCT-guided referral algorithm will enable identification of patients at risk for vision loss from diabetic macular edema and facilitate direct referral to retina specialists for more timely evaluation and treatment.
Changes in Ciliary Body Thickness in Patients With Diabetic Macular Edema After Vitrectomy
Diabetic Macular EdemaThe purpose of this study is to determine whether ciliary body thickness increased in the presence of diabetic macular edema and whether it changed after pars plana vitrectomy.
Lower Leg Edema Evaluation After Total Knee Arthroplasty Using Bioimpedance
EdemaThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the applicability and measurement properties of bioimpedance spectroscopy for postsurgical edema assessment after total knee arthroplasty
Bevacizumab Versus Ranibizumab for the Treatment of Diabetic Macular Edema
Diabetic RetinopathyMacular EdemaThe purpose of this study is to compare the morphological and visual acuity outcomes associated with 1.5 mg bevacizumab versus 0.5 ranibizumab intravitreal injections for treatment of diabetic macular edema.
The Effect of Bevacizumab and Ziv-aflibercept in Diabetic Macular Edema
Diabetic Macular EdemaIn this double clinical trial 132 patient with the history of DME (Diabetic Macular Edema) to receive intravitreous bevacizumab at a dose of 1.25mg (44 patient) , ziv-aflibercept at dose of 1.25 mg (44 patient) , ziv-aflibercept at dose of 2.5 mg (44 patient) . The study drugs were administered as often as every 4 weeks for 3 months.monitoring of best-corrected visual acuity, CST ( Central Subfield Thickness) by OCT (Optical coherence tomography) was done from base line ,4 weeks, 8weeks after injection.
Randomized Trial of Exercise on Lower Extremity Edema After Lymphadenectomy in Gynecologic Cancer...
Gynecologic CancerThe primary outcome is the change in lower extremity edema-related symptoms. Secondary outcomes include the compliance rate of management guidelines for lower extremity edema, the performance rate for pelvic and lower extremity exercise.
Tadalafil and Acetazolamide Versus Acetazolamide in Acute Mountain Sickness Prevention
Pulmonary EdemaCerebral EdemaTo evaluate the additive value of tadalafil given together with Diamox (acetazolamide) in preventing acute mountain sickness in travelers to high altitude areas.
Measuring Hand Edema in Burn Patients
EdemaThe purpose of this study is to determine the reliability and concurrent validity of the figure-of-eight method of measuring hand edema in the burn patient population. Establishing the reliability and validity would enable a more time efficient assessment than the currently accepted methods.
Eylea and Lucentis for Macular Edema in Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion
Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion With Macular EdemaComparing time to recurrence of macular edema after an initial loading dose of at least three monthly anti VEGF injections (aflibercept or ranibizumab) for macular edema in BRVO.
