Patient and Provider Assessment of Lipid Management Registry
HyperlipidemiaHypercholesterolemia15 moreThe purpose of the Patient and Provider Assessment of Lipid Management Registry (PALM) is to gain a better understanding of physicians' cholesterol medication prescribing practices, patient and physician attitudes and beliefs related to cholesterol management, and current utilization of cholesterol-lowering therapies given the new ACC/AHA guideline recommendations. The PALM Registry hopes to allow for the design of ways to improve cholesterol management and decrease the burden of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the US.

Return of Actionable Variants Empirical Study
Familial HypercholesterolemiaThis is a genomic implementation project with ancillary studies to understand the impact on patients' health and well-being of returning genomic results to them and depositing those results in the medical record.
IN-TANDEM Familial Hypercholesterolemia Pilot Study
Familial HypercholesterolemiaThe purpose of this study is to validate the use of the FH Foundation FIND FH® Algorithm as a clinical decision support tool. FIND FH (Flag/Identify/Network/Engage) is a national initiative that utilizes machine learning and data mining techniques to identify individuals whose profiles are consistent with FH patients. The algorithm will be tested in adults with at least one cardiovascular comorbidity. Study subjects will be asked to provide either a saliva, buccal or venous blood sample for DNA and biomarker analysis

Non-interventional Study (NIS) to Assess Reaching of Cholesterol Target Values in Patients Treated...
HypercholesterolaemiaThis is a multi-centre non-interventional study of patients who are treated with any HMGCoA reductase inhibitor available in Croatia (rosuvastatin, simvastatin, atorvastatin and fluvastatin) for at least 6 months. All HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors must be prescribed in accordance with SmPCs approved in Croatia. Data collection for each patient will take place at a single visit. The investigator will complete a Case Report Form with the patient's demographics, the presence of the factors for high cardiovascular risk, current treatment, cholesterol values as well as with further treatment decision.
InPractice Survey on the Treatment of Hypercholesterolemia
HypercholesterolemiaThis is a multi-centre survey of patients who are currently on lipid-lowering pharmacological treatment. Data collection for each patient will take place at one visit.
