A Study of Ketogenic Diet in Newly Diagnosed Overweight or Obese Endometrial Cancer Patients

Endometrial Cancer

The purpose of this study is to test any good and bad effects of an experimental diet, called a ketogenic diet, in endometrial cancer. A ketogenic diet is one that is very low in carbohydrates (simple and complex sugars). The goal of this diet is for the body to go into a state of ketosis. Ketosis is when the body does not have enough sugar for energy so it burns stored fats which create acids called ketones, which can be used for energy. Researchers hope to learn whether or not a ketogenic diet is well-tolerated and safe to eat before surgery in endometrial cancer patients.

PORTEC-4a: Molecular Profile-based Versus Standard Adjuvant Radiotherapy in Endometrial Cancer

Endometrial Cancer Stage IEndometrial Cancer Stage II

This is prospective, multicenter, randomised phase III trial among women with endometrial cancer with high-intermediate risk features to investigate the role of an integrated clinicopathological and molecular risk profile to determine if participants should receive no adjuvant therapy, vaginal brachytherapy or external beam radiotherapy based on a favourable, intermediate or unfavourable profile as compared to standard adjuvant vaginal brachytherapy.

Non-Small Cell Lung CancerRenal Cell Cancer11 more

This is a Phase 1/1b open-label, dose escalation and dose expansion study of CPI-006, a humanized monoclonal antibody (mAb) targeting the CD73 cell-surface ectonucleotidase in adult subjects with select advanced cancers. CPI-006 will be evaluated as a single agent, in combination with ciforadenant (an oral adenosine 2A receptor antagonist), in combination with pembrolizumab (an anti-PD1 antibody), and in combination with ciforadenant and pembrolizumab.

Phase II Study of Atezolizumab + Bevacizumab in Endometrial Cancer

Endometrial Cancer

This is a single arm, Phase II study using the combination of atezolizumab and bevicacizumab in women with advanced, recurrent or persistent endometrial cancer. Safety and futility of this drug combination will be assessed to see what effect this treatment has on this patient population.

A Study of SGN-STNV in Advanced Solid Tumors

CarcinomaNon-Small Cell Lung11 more

This trial will look at a drug called SGN-STNV to find out whether it is safe for patients with solid tumors. It will study SGN-STNV to find out what its side effects are. A side effect is anything the drug does besides treating cancer. It will also study how well SGN-STNV works to treat solid tumors. The study will have two parts. Part A of the study will find out how much SGN-STNV should be given to patients. Part B will use the dose found in Part A to find out how safe SGN-STNV is and if it works to treat certain types of solid tumors.

Safety, Tolerability & Potential Anti-cancer Activity of Increasing Doses of AZD5363 in Different...

Advanced Solid MalignancySafety and Tolerability12 more

This study is designed to investigate the safety and tolerability of a new drug, AZD5363, in patients with advanced cancer - and to identify a dose and schedule that can be used in the future. This study will also investigate how the body handles AZD5363 (ie, how quickly the body absorbs and removes the drug). This study will also investigate anti-tumour activity of AZD5363 in patients with advanced / metastatic breast, gynaecological cancers or other solid cancers bearing either AKT1 / PIK3CA or PTEN mutation.

Randomized Trial of Radiation Therapy With or Without Chemotherapy for Endometrial Cancer

Endometrial Cancer

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, paclitaxel, and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Giving chemotherapy and radiation therapy after surgery may kill any tumor cells that remain after surgery. It is not yet known whether giving chemotherapy together with radiation therapy is more effective than giving radiation therapy alone in treating endometrial cancer. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying chemotherapy and radiation therapy to see how well they work compared with radiation therapy alone in treating patients with high-risk, stage I, stage II, or stage III endometrial cancer.
